My favorite is when that pompous douche says that everyone needs to pay more taxes. Guess what? You can donate all the money you want to the gov't HERE. Donate your money and leave mine the frick alone.

Let me see, he's 89. Before you know it he will be a dead socialist.

Funny how these people become so generous with everyone else's money after they've already made billions of dollars.
ETA: Buffett looked completely annihilated at the meeting. He's usually a chipper, jolly little man for being in his 80s

Enjoy those incoming insurance losses and a dying banking system driven by zero rates

It’s threads like this that reassure me I’m not one of the extremists looking to be offended by whatever I can find.

I thought Republicans were all about letting business leaders tell us how to run the country? They know what's best, right?
How many times do we see being a businessman as a reason we should vote for people. Wasn't that a major pro of Eddie Rispone?
The markets have spoken and Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, etc are the best at running businesses therefore they would be the best at running a nation.

I get so tired of extremely wealthy people, who could liquidate every thing and hand out all their assets, tell me about how my modest wealth is somehow mine because of privilege. He should treat his guilt with his own money and not the taxpayers.

I love it when rich people preach to middle class people about the scourge of poverty. They always say something stupid like people are working 24 hours a day. Well no they are not. And I would bet you that there are people who work for Buffett that don't make $60k.

Does everyone working for buffet’s company make 60k a year? They never run their businesses how they want the government to hand out money which is exactly why buffet says he prefers EIC over minimum wages. Yes we like businessmen who run the government more like a business and not an ATM.
