25K jobs and 25K "great" jobs are not the same thing.
When I said great I was referring to the fact that the jobs at this HQ were going to pay an average of $150,000.

I still fail to understand why people would get so bent out of shape about their neighborhoods improving and land values going up? You can literally selll and make a huge profit and move to a less expensive area.

..and Pocahontas cheered this on as well, and she has absolutely nothing to do with New York.
Not since her people sold Manhatten.

She celebrated Amazon not coming to NY, along with Pocahontas.
They just cost NY 25k jobs....high paying jobs
How many millions in salary and taxes did they just cost NY?
How many millions did they just cost small local businesses? oh and sales tax for the state?
talk about not knowing how businesses work and potential economic windfall it would have brought
Guess Dallas, Tx will get that financial windfall

turning on SheGuevera over Amazon stance Man, they are ripping this chick. She did not have her constituents or neighbors best interest in mind. These were 25,000 jobs for New Yorkers. People are fleeing in droves and NY’s influence in Congress will be diminshied come next redistricting wherein they will lose 1-2 seats in Congress
At least we understand where AOC is coming from and what her intentions are, Joe has become a joke. He's a legit embarrassment.

because they are renters. The group of people she represents and appeals to aren't property owners.

I was in high school in the 1970's when NYC was totally bankrupt, dirty, crime ridden, etc.... How did they survive ? Help from the taxpayers of the USA first and then they proceeded to install a system of massive THEFT of money from everyone in the USA with their financial SCAMS that continue today. Washington DC got in on it in the 1980's. The entire government and money system today is designed to deplete everyone else of their money. They are DISGUSTING. This is when China had zero economy and every single person in China wore government issued green pants, shirts, and hats. Until the USA scammers came along and made a deal with the devil that enriched China and the elite in the USA.

but there is no 3 billion payment
It's the same idiots that believe someone with a Net worth/wealth of 5Mm,10Mm,15Mm have that amount of cash in the bank.
Most of these idiots have either gone from college straight to govt jobs or have lived with mommy and daddy until well into their 30s.

The 3 billion in tax breaks was not “giving amazon 3 billion” that she would want to invest in her district for teachers etc. sure that sounds nice, getting more teachers, but there is no 3 billion payment. Those are tax breaks.
Rush just played a clip of her. She said, paraphrasing, we want to now spend the three billion dollars on subways and the community.
Repeating that.. she seems to think that her fight against Amazon has somehow gotten $3B into the NYC coffers.
Is there anyone on this board who defends this blithering idiot?

With all these businesses flocking to Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama, to get away from NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, et al, the South is rising again.
