Yes, he used the Vietnam Times Veteran moniker again.

Let's assume that is all he claimed

a.) Why mention Vietnam if you didn't serve there?

b.) If you did not serve - why would you let the media inflate your service record without correction?

As best I could understand over the background noise, he said “As a Vietnam veteran times ... served in the Marine Corps 1972 to 1976, got out in May ... the year after the war ended....”

Here you go since you "missed it'

quote:

Phillips said he was five years old when he was "taken away from my family and put in foster care ... until I was 17."

Phillips said he grew up in an abusive home, started working on construction and lumber jobs, and then joined the Marines, serving in the Vietnam War.

Here you go. Here is claiming Vietnam War vet status, he's saying during the incident he was scared "and I'm a Vietnam Vet" several times.

That was a reporter paraphrasing, exactly as cwill said.

This board has unapologetically bashed veterans for years now. This undeniable proof that they were wrong is not going to change that behavior now.

No, motherfricker. Did you look at the link DIRECTLY ABOVE your post? It's right there in the CNN article. His own words. Phillips said it twice. Jesus, I feel like I'm on crazy pills.

quote:

And it's because I'm a veteran -- I'm a Vietnam veteran -- that these two groups even have the right in this country to have protests, to have conflicting opinions.

And I'm a Vietnam veteran and I know that mentality of "There's enough of us. We can do this."

Did you watch that? Do you need a time stamp? He 100% said Vietnam times veteran. That is without a doubt 100% what he said.

I feel sorry for Hank's family law clients. Seems like he could miss key words in divorce petitions that could frick your case.
