She did, she was the one who said the shooter "looked sick". How does she make that assertion and not see the shooter?

Sure they gave sketch info, but there were also 3rd part accounts supporting their initial belief.

That might be, but it certainly is not clear at this point. The whole thing is odd though. One thing we do know about hustling is Sheila Jackson Lee is guilty as hell. That POS should be eviscerated for her incendiary and now erroneously racist comments.

Regarding veracity of the victims' account, there was a "red truck" noted at the scene by additional witnesses, and it is captured on video in the vicinity at the time. Black Jr, one of the two perps, claims they they did not know the victims, and instead mistook their vehicle as one of a rival. If all that is true, there is no reason for the victims to have deliberately covered for the perps.

Again though, the story (at least as reported) has been odd from the outset.

Details in reporting are strangely missing. There supposedly were other witnesses. Yet we have no real specifics as to their accounts. E.g., where did the shooting actually occur? Initial reports had it in a parking lot with the assailant "circling" the car before opening fire. Now it is described as a drive-by at an intersection. The perps were driving a rental car. Why? What was the make, model, and color of the shooters' car?

Are these errors in reporting due to crap journalism, or changes in the victims' story? As we live in a world of crap journalism, I strongly suspect the former. Unfortunately if that is the case, it will render public perception of the victims and their actual account as suspect -- something we are already seeing on this board.

It was Houston, she no doubt has a lot of interaction with latinos. Many latinos believe blue eyes mean a person has the devil or evil in their soul. Trust me I have blue eyes, never visit a bar with drunken latinos, you will find out....fortunately for me the bar owner had a baseball bat to defend my honor...but thats a story for a different day.

For the record, she described him down to the color eyes and his "sickly" color, as well as the truck. Does not sound like a hysterical mother to me, she wanted it to be a white guy. The daughter is just agreeing with mom. As to the other "witnesses" how many saw "hands up dont shoot".

If the cops had not gotten to the real story she probably would have picked the white guy out of a line up, because by then she would have had a book deal and pending movie deal.

First rule of being black: Don’t talk to the cops.
Second rule: if forced to talk to the cops, see rule one.

I had not been following or even heard of this case before a similar post to this on the OT. After seeing this post, I went over and checked Gravy’s Facebook posts and of course he was all in on the white racist killed the girl posts over the last few days. And nothing to go back and correct/ update his previous posts now that the facts are out.

Supposedly they are friends on Facebook.

Mother and father have a history of drug use. Theory is this was a drug deal gone wrong.
