Most of the issues you mentioned arent where we are spending most of the mil budget. Personnel costs are sky high. Military compensation has been raised to the point where we can barely maintain active duty levels.
We need to consider taking the Military out of inherently civilian roles. We have tons of active duty sitting in program offices basically living as civilians with uniforms stateside...

This is the difference between Republicans and Democrats. If this was a Democratic administration and they had control of Congress and the president and/or Chuck Schirmer wanted a certain piece of legislation passed no Democrat would oppose no matter how bad it is. There are still at least some Republicans who will vote their conscience over their politics if they are fundamentally opposed to it.

If you are going to do this do it right. Present a platform in an election cycle. Say we are going to gut the budget. Take all dependents on the state and throw them to the curb. Then if the people say, yes at the polls, there you have it. A CR should remove the military from consideration, so all of our hard working men and women can pay all their bills and not constantly have their lives interrupted ever CR. You Rand guys are worse than liberals. You are clueless. He is such an egotistical SOB.

WTF are you talking about? This has been Rand's overt position in every election cycle and throughout his terms in the Senate. Leadership requires followers and a plan. He grandstands and does the chicken little bit every chance he gets. Count me not impressed.
