but there was not some major conspiracy to ramp up numbers of cases with false positives.
The ramping up of the number of cases with false positives was done exactly by this:
quote:
The false positives have a lot more to do with unrealistic Ct values for cutoffs which are too high and counting minuscule amounts of the DNA being present as a positive. That was the biggest flaw with these tests.
And it’s been happening purposefully since day 1 in labs all around the country.

They served their purpose. Y’all voluntarily game up Liberty and freedom to the government.

The willful dumbassery during this whole thing is mind boggling.
The ones that did speak out were labeled kooks.

He's done that for years all over TD. I used to laugh at the shite advice he'd give on the OT about real estate and construction. The sad thing is he really believed he knew what he was talking about. The dude is a moron of many topics and master of none.

CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test

Because the CDC doesn't want to make or support it anymore. That's it. Nothing nefarious.

I’ve read where having something as simple as a previous cold was enough to trigger a positive test?

Reading what is written in the article, Korkstand is right. It does say it was to detect SARS-CoV-2 only.
We do know the numbers were inflated by the crazy numbers of cycles they ran on the test.
But I don't trust the CDC and FDA.....for some reason with this statement.
Why in the hell was there no flu detected this season? Something obviously isn't right and flu didn't just disappear. They are not on the up and up and we all know it.
When CDC and FDA are not pushing people to do preventative measures in boosting immune systems with D, K2, Zinc, C, etc and asking us to mask and shutdown, they are not in the business of looking out for our best interest IMO. Couple that with denying doctors the freedom to treat patients with alternative methods like HCL and Ivermectin....they are corrupt and self serving.

This is a point that can’t be overstated. If you are serious about truly stopping the spread of covid, you would evaluate every option available, and not simply continue to rely on only 3 methodologies; vaccinations, social distancing and masks.
You also wouldn’t condone things like; BLM super spearer protests and open borders.

Beat me to it! You are exactly right.

In other words, the old test detected covid only. Now they recommend tests that also detect flu in a single test so that multiple tests are not required to determine whether a person has covid or flu.
Covid is just a more contagious and vigorous virus, like the Flu. We can all thank Fauci and the CCP for that. Now whether those idiots accidentally let it escape their Wuhan Lab is debatable given plausible deniability; but highly suspicious, in that it was WILLFULLY released into the whole World...right before the election that Trump was guaranteed to win. Trump was slamming the CCP.
Smoke=fire. Duh!

And apparently it does not include useless contaminated reagent, which is a huge improvement for CDC lab buffoons who screwed the country in Jan-Feb2020.

It would have been nice to have had this about 1 year ago!

You are lying to yourself and to everyone here.

Do you really think it's just as cheap and easy to create a combo test? Hey why don't we just make a test that checks for every disease possible all at once? Then docs would never say "we need to run more tests". So easy!

Tigah: the announcement itself is that the CDC is pulling it as of a certain date. I could be wrong but seems clear the CDC doesn't want to make or support the assay any longer and is giving labs a heads-up. They are still providing their multiplex test, just not the single agent COVID test.
