not advocating beating anyone to death, but i'd imagine there are a couple dozen vt football players who could kill that guy with 1-2 punches to the dome. seems unintentional to me

I was about to post the same thought. It really comes down to the number of punches. If he hit him 30 times then it's obviously murder. 1,2,3 punches seems like a reasonable reaction to sexual assault.

agree. to elaborate on my previous comment...i doubt he went over there intending to kill him, but seems like he meant to beat him up good. in the eyes of the law i guess it doesn't matter if you meant to or not when it comes to killing, though that may be what happened in this case. to your point seems he did head over there with intent to at least assault and should have been penalized for such
my point was the likelihood of a college ball player smashing that dude's face and killing him compared to most regular joes. reminds me of those cases where a bar fight winds up with a guy hitting his head on the curb and getting killed. not sure what if anything the other brawler deserves
