Yep.

I've seen it first hand. Guy was cuffed and the cop pulled up on them and told the guy "Quit resisting".

When I said that was a dick move the cop threatened to arrest me as well.

BULL shite
It means he was about to get tazed.

That’s immediately what I thought he meant, too, but the fact we’ve got reasonable people in this thread disagreeing about the meaning of the phrase, tells me that the cops should drop the fancy Dirty Harry talk, and use clearer terms. Everybody understands, “you’re about to get tazed.”

HST, I don’t think this Johnnie Cochran wanna-be would have changed his demeanor. He was absolutely determined to tell those cops what he thought their protocol should be.

So I finally stepped out of my car to explain the situation to him. He threw open his door, crouched behind it, reached for his holster, and screamed for me to get back in the vehicle. If I was a Black man, I'd have assumed the SOB was a racist when in fact he was a simple, albeit dangerous, imbecile.

I had a pussy cop draw his pistol on me once for getting out of the car.

I gave him my license and an expired insurance policy by mistake. Once I realized the insurance card was expired I got out to give him the new one and he drew his pistol and started screaming get on the ground.

I had on a white Ralph Lauren purple label sweater that was like 800 dollars. It was fricking ruined from the dirty asphalt. Black stains would not come off.

Then I had to listen to this scared pussy copsplain to me the dangers of getting out of the vehicle.

I was 19 and probably only 165lbs, extremely well dressed in bmw 5series.
The stop was was for a rolling stop sign. There zero reason for him to respond that way especially after we had cordial conversation just 2 mins prior.

I don't understand why they go into public service if they have such contempt and an overall lack of respect for the public.

Power trip.

Most of them got stuffed in lockers in HS from what I can tell.

I don’t blame him for not getting out. Those two cops were psychos. Who pulls a gun and tells you they are about to execute you (“ride the lightning “) supposedly over tinted windows or missing plate (which was actually visible)? Cops need to get over this power trip thing. They are not soldiers. They are public servants.

Well not to mention when he said he was scared to get out, the cops response was “you should be.” Is that really how we want our public servants handling situations with the public?

You deserve to be in jail for spending $800 on a sweater. Or a mental hospital.

A fool and his money...

Bet he preens about the less fortunate in his asphalt stained $800 sweater too.

I can’t stand virtue signaling

The article was horribly written. I suggest that everyone just ignore the article honestly and watch the videos for their own opinion.

I was 19 and in college at the time. I had no bills, was still on my parents dime, and all 4 of my grandparents were still alive. I didn't realize how good I had it.

My summation would have been, guy kept driving for a while after the blue lights flashed. That caused it to be a tense situation. He then basically refused to do anything he was asked and argued nonstop. I think the officers could try and stay cool once his arms were visible. But he was a dumbass.
