According to Glenn's daughter, Mar-Gerie Crawley, he suffered from diverticulitis, a gastrointestinal disease that causes inflammation of the intestines, so it was not unusual for him to experience high fevers.

However, last Sunday he began struggling to breathe and so was admitted to a hospital.

After being put on a ventilator his breathing improved, but he tested positive for Covid-19 shortly after.

There are two pictures of the pastor. You can see he'd lost weight. I assume he'd been sick for some time.

Just as many of us thought, he had
pre-existing conditions...

A true Shepherd of the flock wouldn't endanger the flock. He can kill himself with Covid if he wants to but he brought grave danger to all of them and great grief to those that love him.

You can't be hard headed. Just stick with the online or a parking lot service for a few weeks until this blows over.

Wonder how many others in that Church caught the Covid

To be fair, more than 50% of the 60+ population has diverticula, and a large percentage of them have had diverticulitis at least once.

The irony here is that the winner of a Darwin Award would be a Christian.

I mean, good for him believing his constitutional rights were being trampled on and refusing to accept it.

quote:

“I am essential,” he said of remaining open, adding, “I’m a preacher — I talk to God!”

But that is garbage and why people think most religions are scams: we all can talk to God. We don't need a "pastor" to do it for us.

Good for him.

Pretty fricking dumb post.

This board is full of dumbasses, right and left.

Would you commend him for resisting prostate cancer treatment too?

I think you miss what he is saying when he says "I talk to God".

Its not about him having a power that you dont. Basically, as I have come to believe, it is no different than having a set of principles that guide you that are "unaffected" by outside factors.

That is all he means by that.

This is why you shouldn’t tempt God.

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.

One day you guys will learn that the black vote is the moderate vote in the Democratic Party. They are Biden and Hillary’s base. Bernie the “progressive” never won them and that’s why he’s sitting home with a silver medal , again.

Really?

This is why I stay away from this dumbass board now.

I presented an alternative common medical issue, and your defense is spaceships.

If you're trying to argue hypotheticals, you need to improve.

The guy died from being stupid. You support his actions.

You're stupid too.
