Victor David Hanson: Trump Proves The Apostate Right And The Left Wrong On Iran

VDH is an American treasure. Not only is he a brilliant scholar but also exceedingly wise. I faithfully watch any and everything he puts out. TDS doubters should give him a try. It's only 10 minutes.

The media claims Trump is isolated and the midterms are lost, but they are ignoring the reality of a crippled Iran and a redrawn map of Middle Eastern alliances. By shifting from appeasement to strength, the administration has effectively shut out Russia and China while setting the stage for a massive drop in oil prices. This strategy doesn't just secure the Strait—it puts the MAGA movement in the driver’s seat heading into the midterms.

Will someone please let me know the last time VDH was wrong? Thank You.

Thank you sir! The man's worldview is solidly based, reasonable, and he's honest. He comes from a different time and most today could learn much from his opinions.

This.
This thread will probably be absent several posters.

Yes he is. I pray for his battle with cancer.

My knowledge of him is peripheral at best.
Honest question: Does he ever criticize Trump? I don’t need or want him to be TDS-addled, and am more than fine if he agrees most of the time. I am less fine if he never differs at all.

It was the last time Thomas Sowell was wrong, much respect for both men for calling it like it is without worrying about hurting feelings.

Oh yeah he has in the past. He is respectful about it but has been critical.

the reality of a crippled Iran and a redrawn map of Middle Eastern alliances
The Israel-Gaza-Iran-US war has slowed the Abraham Accords, sewn more division between the UAE and KSA, and has shown the rift between Israel and some of the non-Arab countries in that region.
Normalization of relations between KSA and Israel was on the brink before October 7th. That has stopped. Qatar isn't recognizing shite after the IAF strike in Doha 2 years ago. I'm sure the current IDF actions in Lebanon aren't making them more apt to recognize Israel, since Israel has demonstrated they don't give two shits about the border with Lebanon. The land Israel seized in Syria after the fall of Assad (not to mention the Golan Heights) isn't conducive to normalization of relations between Syria and Israel.
If we cut off the $10.5B that we have given Egypt and Jordan since the October 7th attack, they would be at best ambivalent to Israel, if not downright hostile. American money funds the peaceful relationships Israel has with its neighbors.
Why do we have not have this type of relationship with any other country in the world, and what benefit does this relationship provide to the US?

Another brilliant analysis. He breaks things down, so even TDS infected people should understand it, but will likely dismiss it

VDH has went completely in the tank for Trump and his blind loyalty is killing his credibility as a critical thinker. I hate it because I had great respect for his objectivity and clear and concise commentary prior to him going intellectually blind over this Iranian Conflict debacle.

They’ll come here and tell you you’re wrong, without watching. Or, they’ll deflect with something completely irrelevant.

Prepare for the hive mind swarm of downvotes.
All I did was ask a similar question because I legit don’t know much about him.
Already piling up from the bros.

Last week in the article where he opined Trump's tactics in Iran could create a regime change.

The $300B we are going to give Iran doesn't account for "back channel agreements."
Can we figure out what that means before sucking this dude's dick?

I’ve listened to and read VDH’s Blade of Perseus for years. He’s up there with or beyond Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Wm. F Buckley, Pat Buchanan… he’s one our greatest conservative minds.

lol, start a useless war, have Americans die, and end up having to pay Iran billions of dollars all for what? to get back where we started for a president who assured everyone he was not going to start any wars and was America first. Some people really will believe anything if the "right" people tell them it.

Yes, he does. He's not disrespectful but often questions or offers differing opinion about Trumps actions.
He does so regarding this Iran peace deal. Pointing out the fact that Iran has never held up to any agreement. That Trump must be cognitive of this fact and be willing to take severe action against Iran of they violate any agreements.
