I remember watching and thinking she is toast. Kind of like Rittenhouse..the circumstances and facts do matter.
More so..the actual law matters. What law was broken. Did it meet the standard?

You triggered me with that response. It was right on target.

I've followed somewhat. The jury was presented with the gun and the Taser. In order to "feel" the difference. In fact, I was so interested, I stopped a cop inside a McDonald's because I saw a difference in his grip positions and wanted to know how came came up with that. The thought trended me to joke with him and hand placement. The gun holstered normal for a right handed person. The Taser in the style of Doc Holiday in Tombstone. Reach across the midsection and draw across left to right.

I didn’t follow the trial closely but I did hear that her defense team suggested that, even if she had intended to pull her gun and shoot, she would be justified because when the suspects was resisting and trying to drive away, there were police officers in danger of being injured due to the suspects actions. The suspects act of driving away with officers reaching into the car, could have caused great bodily injury to the officers. It’s a shame that a suspects actions are an afterthought in incidences like this. As tragic as the outcome is, had he not tried to run from police, he would be alive today. The fact is, he had an outstanding warrant on a gun charge and he knew he would be going to jail.

Reporters are the absolute worst… just watched on give a summary and a majority of what was said was false…
“She pulled him over”
“She pulled him over”

I think this statement should be OBLIGATORY for any ',media' to have to say BEFORE and AFTER they drone on about their opinions about these kind of things.
talk about the "greater good" = here is a prime example of it.
Are we - as a society - better off with this asshat running free and Kim Potter in jail?? or with him gone from the Future Felons of America roster and Kim Potter continuing her decades long career as an outstanding police officer???
Of course, her career is over regardless, and THAT is punishment enough - more than enough - we NEED more Police Officers like her.

That was nice of them to get their verdict in 2 days before Christmas so the BLM crowd can finish their Christmas looting.

The law the suspect broke? Per FOX, his mother said he was pulled over by police for having an air freshener hanging from his rear view mirror. Cops said he was pulled over for an expired license plate tag.
I know who I believe.

I don't know how anyone in America could ever be a police officer anymore. I'd have resigned from any force a long time ago but this once again just solidifies it.

This verdict reaffirms my view that we are a country full of dumbfricks.
First degree manslaughter, no fricking way.
The jury is a bunch of idiots.

I am just in shock right now...nothing that the prosecutor brought forward during the trial should have lead to a conviction
ETA: this is just proof that you can't get a fair trial in the Twin Cities

Plus he had a warrant against him.

This is a jury that was scared to death of what going to happen to them & their families from the media & woke mob if they didn’t find her guilty. This is where we are now in this country.

Everyone said the same thing about Kyle... the majority of the jury clearly had their minds made up before they seen any evidence

I heard a defense attorney on tv yesterday say Potter had a good case, but her defense came up with a very weak closing argurment.
