The people of Venezuela have crossed the line of no return and there is no going back. Their fight is not hopeless even though they have no guns and weapons. They will need to utilize every ounce of gasoline available and begin burning down every single police station, LEO/Military vehicle, and the governmental buildings associated with Maduro's PSUV party and the political offices of their allied coalition parties. In this process, they will begin to demoralize Maduro's security and eventually obtain weapons and gain armed converts. The cost will be brutal and many will die because the cost of freedom is never free.

As Thomas Jefferson stated, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants".

URGENT To the cry of "freedom!", citizens are gathering on Francisco de Miranda Avenue, in front of the UN headquarters, for a citizens' assembly. The crowd grows larger and larger, with an atmosphere of celebration and peaceful determination. María Corina Machado and Edmundo González will speak in minutes from that place, and from UHN Plus we will be broadcasting the event live.

Yep. They're to the point that they know if the fight is abandoned, the resulting crackdown will be massively oppressive and many will be killed and suffer.

No choice but to win.

Or they could build parallel societies and ignore the govt completely. Civil disobedience still works.

I really hope this doesn't just...fizzle out and Maduro wins by complacency and they get crushed. Easy for me to say from my Air Conditioned office in my chair

Hopefully it just gets bigger and bigger.

Thats my worry. If he lasts a week it may not happen. They will arrest key people. Limit gas and other supplies.

As citizens see more friends or others killed they will realize there is no other option. They have nothing as it is. I do hope they can get weapons to fight back.

Nobody is this misinformed so as to be see things backwards.

You are intentionally spreading misinformation in a passive defense of the left.

But, we all know you support communism.

No. He just thinks his blatant dishonesty somehow is for the greater good he represents.

It's self-evident and he should be judged based on it.

Yeah cause you lefties didn't riot when y'all lost in 2016. You lefties are hypocritical losers. You essentially whine like little coward biatches when your opposition uses the tactics y'all kick off.

Billions in damage and nobody said a word. Burned police stations to the ground and nobody held accountable. January 6 people stayed inside the ropes of the capitol. Most stayed outside of the capitol building. These Palestine protesters from last week had nothing happen when they were in the Capitol building. A $50 fine and released while Jan 6 protesters still waiting for trial. Doubled standards.

Yup, the regime is arresting anyone to try and kill the freedom fighters. I suspect they will revolt harder once it gets dark
