I was on a cruise in mid July unvaccinated and had to take two tests to get on board. Vaccinated didn’t need to test. At that time my wife told me this would happen and here we are

Yes, but we are going to see that those numbers they give are false. Also, the politicians and msm have spouted off “this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” Also, they claimed vaccinated could not spread the disease. All of this is changing now.
This disease infects far more than just a few percentage points of people that are vaccinated. That will be the next narrative change and then boosters will be pushed.

Vaccine is great personal protection for the virus (for now). That should be the take away. It is clear that it doesn’t “stop” the spread though it may limit it (for now).

I’ve found by reading tOT and Political Talk that those who are pro and anti-vaccine are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites. Both sides will lambast each other for pushing their agenda by using fear but each side does it. It’s sickening to see people hope for and take joy when something bad happens, whether it’s death or contracting the virus, just so they can say, I told you so.
I’ve gotten the vaccine and won’t tell anyone to either get it or not. I also won’t condemn a person for whatever choice they make like most of you do. Just accept the fact that everyone has a free will, respect their decision and move on…it’s just that easy.

It means vaccinated people can still get it, that's been proven already. It's just that you have an almost 100% chance of it not fricking you up.

Nobody ever said the vaccine was 100% effective (it’s around 90% effective) Nobody ever said that it reduced transmission to 0. It significantly lowers the risk of being infected and infecting others. Since ppl on a cruise ship are in a much more crowded environment than normal life it increases the chance of being infected and/or infecting others because ppl are constantly being exposed.
You antivaxx idiots really need to pick up a copy of epidemiology for dumbasses and read it. Maybe then you will stop asking such stupid questions.

Reba was vaxxed and said she got covid. many are getting what i think is the delta that is as contagious as chicken pox.
we will never know if the vaxed symptoms are lessoned or prevented from pneumonia.
