How many boosters will you take - 4, 5, 12, unlimited? Will you get a Covid shot every year like the flu? Not looking to attack, just trying to understand.

I get a flu shot every year.

I have no limit until somebody proves it’s more dangerous than Covid.

So once you see proof that the survival rate of the shot is less than 99% you’ll be done getting boosters?

Ok then

I haven't taken a booster

If we end up with bad variants of COVID in the future that aren't mitigated by wider immunity or whatever, and my doctor recommends getting a booster at some point, I would consider doing so

This thread will be stupid because your contingent thinks everyone who has taken the vaccine is some vaccine-obsessed nut, when the huge majority of us got it to avoid getting a bad bout and remain completely fine with that decision

How many isn't the question that should be asked. The real question is how often. Fist booster was 6 months. There wasn't any uproar over it, and now there are starting to be studies showing they lose effectiveness after 3-4 months. My guess is that shot #4 will be recommended 4 months after shot 3.

There are lots of people that say they are fine with getting an annual shot. Will they feel the same way about getting a quarterly shot?

Same. Based and vax-pilled.

This is the correct take, anit-vaxx bros.

Had the original J & J with the wife (no pics). Both of us are hesitant to get any booster at this point. Had the Omicrons and with the pandemic winding down, likely will wait to see what happens. Hope not to be forced for work and/or enjoying an evening out in Orleans Parish.

Which brings up another point. I get the J & J in April of 2021. Any antibodies from that shot are likely non-existent. Yet I have to prove that I had my vaccine (which is now probably not effective) to enter establishments in Orleans Parish. Logic.

Same here. I just got the J&J and was considering getting the booster but with Omricron I don't really feel the need.

It's none of your fricking business how many they take.
I didn't get the vax, and that was my personal choice. That's none of anyone's business either.

The main overarching point in all of this is that it's a personal decision based on the choice of the individual. That became even more obvious when the vaccine was shown to not slow the spread of Covid. So that choice was firmly entrenched as a personal decision and not one of public health as was shoved down our throats by the Biden admin and the media.

Now the people that are strongly for MANDATES are the ones I will tell to go frick themselves all day every day. But what a person does in regards to their personal decisions is again...none of my business.

This whole vax/no vax thing is stupid. It's the mandates that actual conservative free thinking normal people have an opinion on. We don't care whether or not anyone is vaxed.

Plus it's not a vaccine so calling it that is even dumber.

Had a Buddy with the same attitude, until he got Covid… Delta variant.

Then he got vaccinated…

Unfortunately this shite was politicized, which it never should have been. Government screwed up mandating it…

That’s where the problems is, not the vaccine..
