Is that too much? If so, I say lets subsidize the class to give more people a shot at opening child care centers. It does not take a 6 year degree

Ive read some dumb shite but this is pretty fricking stupid.

Man our education system really is failing. People can't tell the difference between fact and opinion.

You want to give uneducated people the chance to open daycare centers around the country and didnt even address those folks actually having to run the entire business.

You are a fricking moron.

He's not wrong. My children are old enough to not be in daycare, and not old enough to stay home by themselves. They stayed with their grandparents most of the summer.

Texas. Not a requirement to operate a daycare. Its a requirement to operate an "Accredited" early education center.

"To be eligible for a Full Child Care Administrator’s License OR Full Child-Placing Agency Administrator’s License, you must:

blah blah blah, fill out forms, etc..... and

4) Submit evidence of one of the following education and experience qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree......"

Well this is just false. I don’t care what Fox News is telling you. Here’s a list of the fastest growing metro areas 2010-2024.

US Metro Growth

The majority of these cities are democratic cities

The top 11 are in red states. You know, the states with favorable tax laws because they are conservative.

Dem “solution” to the perceived problem of child care costs:

Govt subsidies for lower income people.

Fwiw, this will result in higher costs, higher govt debt, more demand.

By "putting tampons in the boys bathrooms," you mean like Tampon Tim personally carting in tampon machines into schools, and screwing them to the wall inside boys' washrooms?
Is that what you are idiotically implying, dumbass?

The language in the Tampon Tim bill requires "period products" be made available and stored in “restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12.”

If MN schools are not configured with unisex restrooms, and have a transmale in attendance, schools are required to allow desired access by the dysmorphic girl to the boys facilities, AND by the Tampon Tim law, schools are REQUIRED to provide free dispensed feminine hygiene products for her(him) in restrooms she(he) frequents.

Vance and Harris are actually proposing the exact same thing on this issue, which is to cut an annual check to parents for $5-6k.

The Democrats did put government childcare centers on the table during the debate surrounding the Inflation Reduction Act, but their internal disagreements prevented it from making it into the final bill.

I can't think of a major metro area that isn't democratic. Its the nature of our country. I think the point being is that democratic states like California have lost significant population to Red states like Texas and Florida. Decisions affecting quality of life, such as taxes and business regulations are made at the state level. Which is why this statistic is more relevant to look at from the state level

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.

We have yet to learn this here in America.

This is a moot point. They’re only red states because 4-6% more of the population is republican. Some are even swing states so it’s 50-50 in those.

It doesn’t change the fact that they are Blue cities and their tax revenue funds all the red areas throughout the rest of states.

Then they keep saying something about tampons being in the boys bathrooms in Minnesota, but no one will provide a link, picture, or any other proof that Minnesota public schools are stocking tampons in the boys bathroom

Maybe try looking for articles written before 2024 and that haven't been "fact checked" by the MSM.

article written without the "fact check" precursor

The bill’s language states that “the products must be available to all menstruating students” in grades four through 12.

quote:

At the end of May, Gov. Tim Walz signed into law an education finance bill which includes requirements for schools to provide menstrual products at no charge starting in January 2024.

The bill’s language states that “the products must be available to all menstruating students” in grades four through 12. Each school district must develop a plan to stock pads and tampons in bathrooms “regularly used” by female and male students.

The discussion has been in the Legislature since January, with Republicans aiming to change the language of the bill to require menstrual products for female students only. But the bill’s sponsor, Rep. Sandra Feist, DFL-New Brighton, urged legislators to reject such amendments.

“Not all students who menstruate are female,” Feist said. “We need to make sure all students have access to these products.”

According to Feist, non-female menstruators “face a greater stigma and barrier to asking for these products.”

Feist is one of five authors of an opinion piece titled “Menstruators deserve equity at school.”

The Alliance for Period Supplies tweeted in celebration of the bill passing, thanking Feist for her work to “end period poverty

I don't know if they have installed the tampon dispensers in the boys bathrooms yet, but the bill is signed and they still have a year and a bit yet to use those allocated funds.

I can find more articles if you would like. Duckduckgo has quite a few that aren't buried by google.

And why do you think that is? It couldn’t be because the policies in those cities foster better economic development and do a better job providing their population with the social welfare and services they need?
