I do not know how Vance defines throwing friends under the bus because of political disagreements. However, I, personally, have made deliberate decisions to cut off several friends because of current political disagreements. A few years ago I didn't feel that way at all. Too much is at stake now, and these former "friends" are now, imho, enemies to the success, safety, and security of America, my family, and freedom loving citizens here. It wasn't nearly as difficult to get them out of my life as I thought it would be. And...I no longer have to listen to their BS, lies, and ignorance. Good riddance.

ETA: I think a lot of people on this board are going to be confused in 2028 when every candidate is attempting to distance themselves from the “great success” of this admin.

JD and Rubio are likely going to be limited by the association with the admin in the same fashion that Kamala could not shake the Biden admin failures.

Tucker has called Trump the antichrist. I understand Vance not wanting to get into the mud, but it was pretty foolish to call Tucker his friend after the frickin nonsense Tucker has been spewing lately.

But then again, Vance himself is saying that the UFOnauts are demons and that AI is some sort of dark spiritual energy.

TBD.

I know those who are under age 70 and who live out an average lifespan are going to see things over the next 10-20 years that are mind boggling and in some cases mind numbing.

In that case, Ron DeSantis says "Hello! Remember me?".

This is after Sayed changed all of his policies after running. Did Tucker ask why Sayed did a complete 180?

Yes, Tucker pointed out the guy was in favor of covid mandates and all kinds of other shitty lefty polices before changing his campaign.

That was in the clips people kept posting, so I'm not sure how you missed it.

And he also pointed out that Rogers is a traitor to the US and serves another country. Which is what has the rest of you American traitors in arms.

Yeah I listened to that podcast and he never endorsed that guy. Just because you start ten threads per day on this board doesn’t make you honest or accurate. It just makes you weird.

Even longtime democrats know El-Sayad is a terrorist wolf in sheep's clothing.

How far off the reservation has Tucker gone?

Some longtime Michigan Democratic donors and fundraisers (primarily from the metro Detroit Jewish community) have backed or raised money for Republican Mike Rogers in the 2026 U.S. Senate race against Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, citing concerns over El-Sayed’s positions on Israel.

crainsdetroit.com

Mike Rogers (often misspelled “Rodgers”) is a former Republican U.S. Representative from Michigan who is the GOP nominee for the open Senate seat (succeeding Gary Peters). El-Sayed won the Democratic primary over Haley Stevens.Key examples of Democratic-aligned support for RogersIn mid-to-late August 2026 (shortly after El-Sayed’s primary win), prominent longtime Democratic donors and businessmen Brian Hermelin, Hannan Lis, and Rob Orley co-hosted a fundraiser for Rogers that brought in more than $200,000. These individuals have previously supported Democrats including Sens. Gary Peters and Elissa Slotkin, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

Reporting describes this as part of a broader shift among some Jewish Democrats and fundraisers who view Rogers as preferable on issues related to Israel and antisemitism. Quotes from participants and observers (e.g., Dennis Bernard of Jewish Federations of North America) framed it as an unusual cross-party move driven by the specific matchup rather than a full partisan realignment.
