y'all can't help yourselves. You have a slam dunk here and you are turning it into a turnover. TDS has turned your blue wave into a red tsunami.

Jarrett trying to tie this to Trump is every bit as stupid as the folks on here trying to deny the obviously racist tone of Roseanne's tweet.

No it doesn’t.
My manners/upbringing have nothing to do with any government official.
Trump’s actions have zero correlation with my “tone.”
Guess that’s the difference between someone who worships government and someone who abhors it.

You certainly cannot call an African American an ape. That will be considered racist every time. However, Do you really think Roseanne had race on her mind? I mean that would make her one of the stupidest people alive. Perhaps she is. I think more likely is she had zero thought of racism and didn't even think of the connotation until she got the backlash. Which would also be pretty stupid. Maybe I'm misplacing the benefit of the doubt?

I have said numerous times it was an ignorantly stupid remark but it is not racist or bigoted.

If Roseanne cut off ValJar's head like this

would it be okay? Of course it wouldn't be it is a double standard.
HRC said people did this to her (she paid people to) at Trump campaign rallies. The democrats have nothing else but this BS.

You support a President that gives a "wink wink" to white supremacists in Charlottesville. Donald Trump has continuously praised Roseanne Barr and has gone to lengths to include her as "one of us". Why do you feign indignation when people naturally associate Roseanne Barr with Donald Trump?

Oh so if the POTUS reflects the values of our country, when Obama was POTUS is VJ saying our values were lying, shady, corrupt, and racist turds and he was just a reflection of it? Or was she saying he started the tone and flung his BS on the rest of us...make some damn sense woman.

Did she explain her roles in various crimes and what your president should do about seeing her put in jail?

By that "logic" the former president gave a wink wink to BLM and the dead cops in Dallas and BR.

And to say trump or Obama gave a wink wink to either of those is the height of stupidity. You don't see that statements like this and your praise of it do more harm to your "cause". How shortsighted and naive.

Valerie Jarrett says President Trump bears some responsibility for a racist tweet from comedian and actress Roseanne Barr comparing the former Obama aide to an ape.

No he does not and that is just racist Valerie Jarrett continuing the race baiting propaganda that the Obama regime was notorious for sowing racial divide...

If that is the case then Obama is responsible for all the cops killed under his watch for all the race baiting rhetoric is sowed in his speeches to set race relations back 50 years or more...

"The tone does start at the top, and we like to look up to our president and feel as though he reflects the values of our country,"

Valerie Jarrett was part of the Obama regime that purposely set race relations back 50 years or more, embraced terrorist and the muslim brotherhood...we witnessed for 8 years what their values were...
