She is spinning her stories faster than a fckg top. This statement here is indicative of total incompetence.

FBI Director needs to be fired...NOW. That's like a 3rd grader trying to explain why he failed his basic math test.

What a load of crap! It’s like they are admitting they set it up.

I thought the most important safety factor was keeping Trump safe. Under the present administration, nobody will be held accountable, so it doesn't matter what excuses they offer up.

Where is the video of the agents coming out of the building? Surely they heard the guy on the roof, and then heard gun shots. At some point they came out, right? Where is the video?

That can't be a real quote.
You can get a crew of Hispanics on a sloped roof in 5 min, but it's too dangerous for SS agents.
Fock me.

Oh it’s real. Fox quoted her

That's what I don't understand -- we have video of people yelling about the guy, but nothing about the cop who supposedly confronted him or any other law enforcement for that matter.

They may as well come out and say “since it was Trump, we were going through the motions but didn’t really care one way or another”.

Liberals will accept this excuse more readily than the assassin missing his shot.

Said this last night but it’s going to glorious when Trump fires her on Day 1.

up on a sloped roof.
The slope was NOT that steep.
So an amateur sniper has no issue with setting up on this roof but professionals are incapable? What's wrong with these professionals? Too fat?
fricking clown world.

Full article and quotes:

United States Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle acknowledged in an interview that responsibility for the security failure that led to the attempted assassination of former President Trump ultimately rests with herself.
"The buck stops with me," Cheatle told ABC News on Tuesday morning.
The director acknowledged the incident never should have happened and confirmed that the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had been identified as a person of interest. But by the time Crooks was located, it was too late to stop his bullets.
"The shooter was actually identified as a potential person of suspicion," she said. "Unfortunately, with the rapid succession of how things unfolded, by the time that individual was eventually located, they were on the rooftop and were able to fire off at the former president."
Cheatle told ABC News her first reaction to the shooting was "shock."
She also said the Secret Service was aware of the security vulnerabilities presented by the building Crooks took a sniper's position on to aim at Trump. However, a decision was made not to place any personnel on the roof.
"That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof. And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside."

If she really said that, then the entire SS needs to be purged. Damn.

She and Wray both will announce long before Day 1 that they "plan to spend more time with my family". You know how this works.

Go back to soda business you incompetent bitch
Posted on 7/16/24 at 9:00 am to IT_Dawg
Just curious, but did the counter-snipers "inside" the building have themselves a direct line of fire to Trump? Is there any way the line of the bullet turbulence as it whizzed past Trump's head can be shown to be a shot directed down (from a rooftop) or up or level, like from a position inside that building?

Why not put someone on the roof of the loading dock (bldg 3) if slope was an issue. There is a window up there that has a visual sight of shooters location and maybe even the stage.
