You're not accusing me of being leftist or buying into their propaganda, are you?!?! The increase in abysmal service is particularly marked in the past couple of months. You can sit down now.

FedEx.

Here's my story with them. My wife, her sister and her brother received overnight delivery of sizable checks from selling some land. This was last week. It arrived on time. Wife asked delivery guy if she had to sign for it. He said no but he did have to personally hand it to her. The sister has been on a three week vacation, still not back home until tomorrow. The letters arrived on Wed., I assume, to her just like my wife and her brother. The sister's letter was found on her front doorstep Saturday by her son when he went to check on her house.

At least they are arriving. I have the email sign up where I can see what is supposed to be delivered for the day (got it when my son was in basic so I would go home at lunch to grab his letters). I have shite that makes it to the station, gets put on the truck (presumably) and then disappears. The USPS is worse than the DMV.

Yeap, I get that email too. Lately, there are big discrepancies between what is supposed to arrive and what actually does.

It’s almost like they are doing it on purpose.

I think it is local issues. I use usps for my small business and ship 20 packages per day with them and still have had zero issues.

Since the panDEMic, the USPS is struggling to keep up with so many packages. Each facility has increased traffic by the thousands of packages. Also, half the USPS employees that are under 35 years old call in sick constantly. They are half staffed at almost all times. Not showing up for work is not frowned upon, it's standard practice.

It's just an interesting phenomenon. Seems to happen with every new "WE GOT HIM!" scandal. I've also noticed slow-downs in mail. I also get "your package may be delayed because of Covid" notices on everything I order.

That's probably automated on every order. Just letting people know that packages may not arrive as quickly as in the past.

Delete this racist post that sheds a bad light on our heroic post office workers or at least explain why it is not their fault and rather the fault of blumf who is literally murdering the post office.
