We had promised safety to a small group of people, interpreters, contractors etc. Trump already stated last night that the plan was to evacuate those people first including the small group we promised protection in exchange for help. Biden just screwed the plan. You don’t leave those people and Americans on enemy soil and tell them to fill out a form.

you're right the failure of US forces to operate a successful withdrawal that would not lead to the overthrow of the country does not have anything to do with an agreement. it has everything to do with an inept biden administration and intelligence apparatus.

No what we’re saying is the Military was not supposed to leave without getting those people out first and it would be wrong to do so. Your saying we should leave tax paying Americans to be slaughtered because they didn’t get a warning months earlier?

Not sure what this means, all military operations stop. Now if the old Afghan military wanted to fight, than that was up to them.

Any chance this is a dummy story to trick the Taliban. If Americans go out in the city most likely there will be combat. The Taliban is probably more interested in the US Military than the Brits since we are the Great Satan according to them. We sit at the airport and keep the Taliban looking at us while the Brits go out and rescue everyone. I would like to think that but I really don’t. These people in command are idiots We have just looked so bad lately I really wanna think someone is thinking anyway.

Biden isn’t telling that POS from our once-proud and once-legendary 82nd to act like a little pussy. He’s doing that on his own. Our military sucks absolute arse these days - sorry but it’s true. And I blame the leaders not the normal service members.

What agreement? There is no fricking agreement that you keep spouting off about. You think we would agree to let the Taliban take over the whole country, kill thousands of innocent people, seize billions in military equipment and hold thousands of US citizens and allies as hostages?
This Admin doesn't have a clue as to how to resolve this, they are begging the Taliban to please let us go.
