What exact operation are you talking about? Whatever agreement was in place has been blown to hell. The US withdrew troops past the alleged deadline and the Taliban has not met the conditions of the agreement.
If you think it's unwise for US troops to extract Americans because the Taliban may force the airport closed, say that. It has absolutely nothing to do with a non-existent agreement

If we promised those Afghans safety we should keep our word. You don’t abandon US citizens on a tarmac to be slaughtered. If we did indeed promise those interpreters etc safety then we should honor our word.
