Conservatives that wanted to take away Twitters protections now want them kept, and liberals that wanted them protected now want those protections removed.

A lot of people are naive enough to think something like this could never happen here, too.

You are exactly right - even when the facts are staring at them in their faces. It's because this world is under a spell of stupidity and brainwashing.

Hitler had the same idea about newspapers a while back.

How about we just do this bitch?

Should have had their 230 protection yanked years ago and they would have monitored themselves.

She doesn't know what she's talking about. The FCC standards for radio and TV are based on 'use of airwaves'. Cable TV doesn't use 'air' therefore you can buy porn channels on your cable TV.
Internet does not use 'air' so the FCC has no authority.
She's a moron.
FCC regulates cable as per stations that broadcast still must meet those same standards on cable. Also, the FCC regulates the entire use of wireless from Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile, etc.., but not the content, just the spectrum.

Let me interpret. "Yellen said she believed it was appropriate for mobile technology giants Apple and Google to censor content that did not promote a far left progressive agenda or failed to promote Democrats in elections. Not doing so is a danger to (D)emocracy."

Yellen offers a lot of opinions that are completely irrelevant to her job.

But given the opinions related to her job consists of incorrect projections and outright lies, I think it best to just disregard every word she says.
