No, they obviously never "started from scratch." It's pretty clear that the determinant isn't they can't have any nuclear material whatsoever. Using nuclear for energy is even part of the concessions the admin has been willing to make, even going so far as to offer supplying it for that purpose.

Iran could offer a 100% total and complete surrender today and you'd be complaining that it wasn't quick enough, or that in the beginning Trump said it would only be "a few weeks" till it's over. Or you'd say Iran is lying and that they aren't really giving up and they'll continue doing things they said they'd not do.
If we bomb, you get angry. If we don't bomb, you get angry. If Trump does what he says he will do, you get angry. If he doesn't do what he says he will do, you get angry.
And all of the above opinions are given while you (like the rest of us) have very incomplete information.

I think I remember an end times Scripture (Book of Revelation, maybe) where it said “hurt not the oil…”, and that is spot on in the current scenario. Targeted attacks on underground leaders or above ground proxies will happen soon. Trump has to get gas prices down for the Midterms by opening that Strait without allowing the IRGC to remain in control. He’ll probably work directly with Israel on this as their intel is extraordinary. Armaments should be given to the Iranians who want freedom as well. The Guard could not long withstand attacks from within and without.
