Look I'm not blaming Trump for this, but ya'll are crazy if you don't think Pam and Trump knew the outcome with 95% certainty when they made the move.

I really don’t think any court will unseal the records given they pertain to child sex victims. Under FOIA, redaction is not even a choice in these types of cases; none of the investigative work product can be released - other than via court order. And yes, I understand under the court’s review is where we’re at on this; I’m just pointing out that if the investigative records are that heavily guarded under FOIA, the court is likely going to be very cautious with GJ transcripts, as well. That’s my worthless .02…I’ll also add that it’s been 10 years since I’ve been in the game.

It's savvy politicking is what it is. The other side was claiming that he was guilty. He said it was a scam and a hoax. Then told them to release the evidence. They refused.
It blows up their narrative.
