One thing that is true that could easily happen is we could get right wing authoritarianism precisely because of the left. If one side decides that it's going to completely abandon all the structures of the government and basically let judges run a coup then the other side is going to have to start arresting people and probably disappearing them. A great example of this is Pinochet. The left caused him and he was necessary

So, judges no longer enforcing any laws?
Yes, I know it's selective, but one day they may run out of any laws they support.

As long as the illegals have more rights than YOU, not HIM.

She banned BP not ICE. They are separate federal agencies. Most ICE arrests have warrants. Requiring BP to have warrants is like making local cops need warrants to arrest someone for drunk driving.

NO! This is where lawlessness comes from the left.

This squishy shite is why we’re never going to be able to have a country again. You realize what we’re up against? This whole weak federal government shite isn’t going to work against this enemy. These are not people operating in good faith. They want you dead, they want me dead, they never stop until they have full control and power. What we do isn’t going to make them any more or less inclined unless there is no way for them to ever get their hands on anything again.
You’re not getting that with principled apple pie small government bullshite. Sorry, hate to burst your fantasy land, but that isn’t happening. Reliever wins is going to be the side that isn’t afraid to stand up, take full control, and actually root them all out once and for all,

You might then want to accuse YouAreAllPathetic of being a leftist, he wrote it, I just responded to it. Personally, I would describe that sentiment as right-wing, nationalist authoritarianism.

If you don't realize that, you are Hank Johnson's useful idiot.

My response was to you, not a third party once removed who may or may not have a point.

So you were wrong before when you said, "Her ruling says they cannot do anything without a warrant."
Big win for you. Does her ruling follow federal law? I’m more interested in that than gotchas on the internet.
Do you know what the definition of flee usually is in federal law? Of course you don’t. You just don’t like Trump.
Posted on 4/30/25 at 5:30 pm to BCreed1
Trump gonna suspend writ of habeas corpus.

Maybe they should just drop off several hundred on the street where she lives.

Jesus.
That was the full text from YouAreAllPathetic's post that I was saying was the way we get authoritarianism from the Right. That you said, "NO!" to and said it was from the Left. You probably thought I was referring back to the OP, but I was not.

That’s exactly where we’re headed. I hate being right about this, but that’s the outcome if they don’t stop this now… which we all know they won’t. You don’t deal with rabid animals by giving them a hug or laughing at the hypocrisy of it all.
Posted on 4/30/25 at 5:38 pm to Harry Boutte
Sounds like you’re just a little too riled up.

The sweeps occurred under Biden. And it looks like the feds could have exceeded their authority.
Case No.: 1:25-cv-00246 JLT CD
Apparently the judge thought that these federal agents were not abiding by the law as you stated they should - and ruled accordingly. Classes for both suspicionless stop as well as warrentless arrest are addressed.
Do you think it's out of the question that federal field agents could exceed their authority? I believe it's likely given my experience.
YouAreAllPathetic is apparently onboard with extra-judicial federal actions to remove these people. Personally, I believe that would put citizens' rights in jeopardy.
That's the gist of my point ITT.
