The 20 should nominate Scalise and vote for Donalds to start fracturing Mccarthy's support

Ken Buck—Republican from Colorado—did not vote in Round 8.
He’d previously voted for McCarthy.
So McCarthy’s vote total dropped from 201 to 200.

Oh, it looks like Kevin lost 2 votes.

If I were the Dems I couldn't help but troll McCarthy by picking 25 or 30 other Dems to vote for Donalds at least during one round.

Gentlewoman from Illinois is a pretty attractive 63 year old fwiw.

I still think the outcome will be for McCarthy to work with democrats to pass a resolution stating popular vote wins. That will force the 20 to accept him or allow unified democrats to elect Jeffries.

Potential issues that could affect the vote:
Ken Buck (R-CO) has a medical appointment now and thru tomorrow.
Kevin Hern’s (R-OK) mother passed away this week; funeral this weekend.
Wesley Hunt’s (R-TX) wife gave birth this morning.

Until they elect a SOTH.
Could be hours.
Could be days.
Could be weeks.
Could be months.

How the frick can one party be so bad at politics?… a candidate should’ve been worked out weeks ago.
Are house republicans this incompetent, or do they just suck at math?

And here we go for a 10th vote. McCarthy just nominated again by the Gentleman from Arizona, Juan Ciscomani.

They expected to have a large enough majority that the twenty "rebels" would not matter. When the results came in, the rebels figured out they had McCarthy by the balls. Then they grin-fricked him by squeezing more and more power out of him, knowing they could kill his election in the end.
McCarthy's only threat is that he will make a deal with the Dems. And that is not much of a threat.
