I don’t know the breakdown.
Side note: I’m far more impressed with the freshmen/junior members of Congress than I am with most of the old guard. The gentleman (from Michigan) currently speaking is a breath of fresh air. I don’t agree with his support for McCarthy, but I like the cut of his jib.

They’re following Scalise, not McCarthy, IMO. Scalise is just waiting for McCarthy to do the right thing and withdraw.
How does McCarthy not understand that even if he cajoles his way to the gavel, it isn’t going to last. The guy is done having any power in his conference. There will be a forced motion to vacate the chair before the end of this year of McCarthy is made Speaker.
