If the Catholic Church is going to be saved it will be a non-priest.

A Catholic lay leader should be elected to clean house of the pedophiles and their enablers.

Per internet:
“No, the pope doesn't have to be a priest. In fact, popes have been chosen from a variety of backgrounds, including laymen, deacons, priests, and bishops.”

I bet these pedos in the catholic church are no different than the pedos in DC.

Launder the eff out of billions while using some of it to pay off or hide their pedophiles.

Frick these people.

No. You pray that God will not let his church stray. We will likely be getting a new Pope in 2025 and there are some really good possibilities. Unfortunately Cardinal Sarah is probably too old but he isn’t the only conservative who could be in the running.

Even then, the church cannot corrupt the Eucharist. There are a lot of wonderful and honorable priests out there.

I thought we were told just a few weeks ago that Catholic Charities wasn’t part of the Catholic Church and that the official Catholic Church wasn’t involved in all the f*ckery going on with all the federal funding paying for all these illegals?

Lol it’s what Jesus would want according to the Left because “he gets us”. Nothing says pure faith like millions in government loans. Catholicism and it’s faux Christian offshoots like the Presbyterian and Episcopal are laughably corrupt

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is suing the Trump administration over what the bishops say is an unlawful suspension of funding for refugee programs in the United States.

Upon taking office last month, President Donald Trump issued sweeping executive orders that, among other measures, directed a freeze on foreign assistance funds and grants, with the White House seeking to uproot left-wing initiatives in federally funded programs.

The orders have led to a flurry of legal challenges from advocates and nonprofit groups arguing that the funding freeze is unlawful. Other groups such as Catholic Charities have urged the Trump administration to reconsider the freeze, citing the “crucial care” the funding helps provide.

In their lawsuit, filed on Tuesday in U.S. district court in Washington, D.C., the USCCB notes that it has worked with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration for “nearly half a century” in order to assist with refugee resettlement in the U.S.

.Gov hasn't given these people anything. .Gov doesn't earn any money, it's the American worker that's been forced to work and forced to watch ,Gove TAKE the money and hand it to these people.

Well, we're tapped out. Find another source.

Is it uncharitable (pun intended) to say that the RCC should sell indulgences to make up the difference? It worked well in paying for St. Peter's Basilica.

They need to use that money that they don't have to pay in taxes to fund their pet projects, even if they are illegal.

The first step is to recognize the issue. It’s not pedophile priests. Almost 100% of the abuse occurs to post pubescent juveniles. The church has a homosexual issue.

Take away their tax exemption and countersue them for braking out immigrations laws.

You are kind of posting fake news.

Catholic leaders claimed the Trump administration is refusing to pay for services rendered before the funding freeze was in place.

“The USCCB said it is still awaiting about $13 million in reimbursements for expenses prior to Jan. 24,” The Associated Press reported.

Is the refugee charity being funded by the Catholic Church (of which I am a member) or the US taxpayers (of which I am one)?
If this is truly a catholic charity, I don’t see why tax dollars should be involved. And I certainly don’t see why the church would have any entitlement to them.

All the moral institutions of a moral and just American society have been bought off/corrupted. Everywhere you turn, your are bombarded by DEI commie crap because of this.
