It's fun watching Rodger continue to act like he knows any fricking thing at all related to finance given how horribly he embarrassed himself regarding the market. I mean talk about complete lack of self-awareness.

Yes, we all realize you have a toddler's understanding of tariffs

I've been right so far.

And will continue to be. Trump keeps folding because his plan, which you supported was dog shite.

Since the constitution does not give a business the ability to to set policy...

fun fact it also doesnt give the president the power to do it, that originally was congress's job.

but later SCOTUS and a few congressional acts gave the executive that power.

Here is an interesting little read on it LINK

I’m so stoked about Trump’s response to “facilitating a return” that I’m almost having to pinch myself — hopefully congress pushes something that rebalances the separation of powers

(I’m fighting my inner hypocrisy here, as I don’t want Congress to assume responsibility for tariffs, but know in my heart that they should have this power/responsibility)

I told you Trump would fold and continue to fold.

I also told you why, because the dumbass has no clue what his plan is, and the business world is aware.

that's not what tariffs are we completely funded our federal government with tariffs from 1787 until 1913.

You had a totally different economy backed by gold. Wealth was far more static.

Now, we use imports to create wealth within this country.

What kind of stupid frick types out everything on a phone? Just because your knowledge of Technology seems roughly equal to your knowledge of Finance doesn't mean the rest of us have to be in the Stone Age

Me too, but that isn't what is happening here. Your side created this emergency. The country not being able to pay its bills is an emergency of epic proportions and that is the cliff we are racing towards.
