Sure they do but when you’re setting up the narrative that Trump handled Covid worse than any other world leader, you’re not going to let facts muddy up the waters.

It’s probably not so much a matter if “honesty.” I don’t know if they’d be able to properly classify more than 25% of their daily deaths if they wanted to.

India likely has no way to be honest. They couldn’t tell you how many are infected even if they wanted to. They have 20,000-100,000 die of malaria every year. And they don’t have a good idea of where they are in that range.

Even if they all really died of covid-19, that is only 1 out of every 165,000 people in the USA
Sucks for those people and their families but that is more than 2 Superdomes full of people and 1 died.
The media throws out all these numbers with no frame of reference and people that don’t or can’t understand math and statistics get scared.
