Why would we invade Cuba? Just open up daily flights and remove the prohibition against spending money there. Cuba would be the 51st state in less than two years.

The end result of this is more Cuban immigrants on welfare popping out kids who’s name ends with an O. Their population is to dumb to end communism or farm.
I don’t want more Fernandos, Marcos, or Domingo’s speaking Spanish in line in front of me wondering why their card isn’t working.

Meh...does not necessarily mean what you think this means. The US military has been running attack/ support feasability studies for years for preparedness. We have done this for war with Russia, defending Taiwan, taking over Saudi oil fields, etc. It's called being prepared. The press just got wind of it this time.

Whatever happens in Cuba, well they are just another anti American dictatorship that’s got it coming. And if something were to happen militarily, it would be an opportunity for readiness for the reserves and guard units. Their enlistment oath is the same as the regular army.
