This was a 2-1 ruling handed down by 3 Democrat-appointed judges. This ruling will have far-reaching effects regarding left-wing attempts to weaponize the Materiality Provision of the Civil Rights Act across the country and represents a victory for mail ballot safeguards in a crucial swing state.

quote:

WASHINGTON – Following the news that the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of an RNC-led election integrity lawsuit regarding signature verification for mail voting in Pennsylvania, RNC Chairman Michael Whatley released the following statement.

“This is a crucial victory for election integrity and voter confidence in the Keystone State and nationwide. Pennsylvanians deserve to feel confident in the security of their mail ballots, and this 3rd Circuit ruling roundly rejects unlawful left-wing attempts to count undated or incorrectly dated mail ballots. Republicans will continue to fight and win for election integrity in courts across the country ahead of the 2024 election.”

The 3rd says they can not count them.

The enforcement post counting will be the issue.

2020 election was stolen. Hopefully this will prevent the ballot dumps on election night in PA this year

Since the Federal 3rd Circuit made this ruling, will this give standing to other states who face the same issue on election day and use the courts to make those ballots un-countable?

So is the only appeal left (by the Left) to the Supreme Court?

There's also the Vile Left's traditional tactic of simply ignoring the law and counting them anyway. What consequences are there for kicking the poll watchers out and illegally resuming the count like they did in 2020?

The ruling came down too early. The DEMS have time to come up with a new plan to cheat.

Honestly I’m very surprised there are some common sense Dems on the court. Look at SCOTUS who rule via emotion.

I thought our elections were all standing up to court scrutiny...

Some posters in this thread still won't see the light bring shined on issues with our elections

I don't think this ruling is as solid as being made out to be. Sure it's good, but so now they just put dates on the fraudulent ballots.

This is where Trump's strategy of telling his supporters to vote in person, not mail in their votes. Let's say that there are 50,000 envelopes that are not valid. Trump has 25,000 mail in votes and Biden has 275,000. He could say disqualify all of my votes and 25,000 of Biden's votes. That could be enough to swing the election.

I was coming to post the exact same thing! But one quick thought, if memory serves, PA and some other states accept ballots after the cutoff, like two or three days after polls close. So hopefully this will eliminate some of that BS.

Nope ... they are stamped by the post office and the envelope must be attached

I believe Nevada law allows counting ballots up to four days after Election Day. Ridiculous.

A post office employee (who later disappeared off the face of the earth) gave testimony that he was ordered to back date ballots in Detroit.there is always a way to cheat.

frick that little troll Marc Elias. This shite should have been going on for years, but hopefully better late than never. This type of action needs to follow Elias to every state whose election protocols he subverts. Awesome to finally win some election cases.
