Looks like a fricking bar code, or a prisoner suit!
What a joke!

So basically, that proves that Trump was selling nuclear codes to putin.
They got him now, undoubtedly.

Repeat after me...Yes he can!

Who within the Executive Department is a President "stealing" documents from?

While I like Kash, I am not sure I see the harm in his name being in the affidavit. All it says is Kash told the press the documents were already declassified. He's been telling the press this since before the raid. So why is he mad about stuff he's said on national TV being in the affidavit? It's no secret he has been saying this and it's no secret he worked in the Trump admin.
Also, the affidavit did not say (or imply) that he was a source for the FBI, nor do I think he's a source. So, I am not sure what he's mad about in this instance.

It's not hard to figure out what's going on here. The desperation is palpable and that always happens when someone is trying to cover their tracks. The DOJ and FBI are DIRTY AF!!!

Hey government, you shouldn't redact if you have nothing to hide.

why is he only claiming he did now, for the first time, after this all went public now?
Where did he say this?
Still doesn’t matter.
You are repeating MSM talking points.

quote:Weird. When Obama disclosed the nuclear warhead numbers in 2010 democrats were arguing exactly that. Guess that was (D)ifferent.
because its true, there is nothing the President cant declassify, for any reason he wants, or no reason at all, theres nothing "the deep state" can do to stop him. so why didnt trump do that? why is he only claiming he did now, for the first time, after this all went public now?
Posted on 8/26/22 at 4:15 pm to VoxDawg
That level of redaction can only lead someone to believe there was no legitimate reason for the raid.

His lawyers made that very argument to the DOJ long ago. They included that letter in the affidavit.

Someone close the DU gates.
They are leaking again.
They are leaking again.

another question: why would trump do what youre saying he did? why would he take top secret documents and not tell anyone? why would he hide them?
Have you not kept up with this, like at all?
Everything that got sent by GSA to MAL was declassified by Trump. So he didn't take top secret documents.
Your story is missing holes

Has Wednesday weighed in on this yet?

The bigger point is this: “Why is the Biden administration scared for Trump to have a copy of the Crossfire Hurricane report?

I have an abysmal headache because I've been filing crap myself all day long, ironically, some of which is bitching about stuff my opponent has decided needs to be under seal for no reason . . .
My take for whoever cares (cited above somewhere else in response to one of you):
1- There is no way this isn't about the FBI trying to figure out what Trump knows about their Muh Russia bullshite. They aren't fishing for a crime. They are fishing for self-preservation. The FBI involved people who aren't in the know, but they are useful idiots. There is no reason in hell that DC FBI people executed this raid, especially KNOWING that Trump was out of town when they did it. Plus I'm still pissed that they searched Melania's closet. There's nothing in the parts of the affidavit we could see that would indicate that Melania was storing classified documents in her underwear drawer, or the FBI had any kind of notice that these documents were anywhere other than the locked room that Trump said they were in.
2- I just hope for the love that all that is holy that Kash Patel somehow bates stamped and indexed them. Dude is too smart not to have done otherwise, and that's what lawyers do when they want to review documents so they know when something is missing or added. Because these pricks are definitely planting information.
3- Trump wrote a public memo saying these documents were declassified and despite that has not leaked or otherwise published them. This is contrary to the actions of the ethicless FBI who selectively has disclosed classified documents since Trump got elected - some of which they're probably bitching about him declassifying anyway. And some of which they're probably now accusing Trump of illegally being in possession of (which is absurd beyond measure bc classified information exists in order to INFORM THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF).
4- Any person in possession of classified information can never unknow it. To that end a President is ALWAYS in posession of classified information in his brain, even the Potatus who can't really access it anyway.
The only criminal implications are mishandling it.
Even the shitty and conclusory portions of the "affidavit" (which is just news stories and court opinons) show that Trump didn't mishandle anything and they have no evidence that he did.
According to news reports and other info - Trump has a SCIF in his residence like all other Presidents and former ones do. Not sure if these were created while he was POTUS or thereafter - but either way - the infrastructure is there. This isn't like when I take a bankers box of privilged documents home to review.
The only thing a little unusual about Trump's house is that the public can access Mar-a-Lago bc its a resort, but the public can access the fricking White House too. This is PAPER. It's not as if it can be hacked unlike information possessed by ahem, a certain retired SEcretary of State who smells like sulfur and put classified information on a server that was attached to the internet.
YOU DON'T GET MORE SECURE THAN PAPER IN A LOCKED ROOM GUARDED BY THE frickING SECRET SERVICE.
5 - None of this became a problem until the Deep State Realized that there was a plan and legal basis for firing all of them based on the way they used intelligence against Americans, including but not limtied to the Former President.
6 - I hate everything. I am going to have a drink bc I can't stare a file stamped documents off PACER anymore today.
