Just heard the below is on the table right now:
September 26: DJT names his nominee at night
Week of October 12: Senate hearings on nominee
Week of October 26: processes and vote
Week of November 9: ACA will be heard by SCOTUS including a new Justice if confirmed
ETA:

ETA:
quote:
Marsha Blackburn, Tennessee Republican, stressed the need for Congress to exercise its “Constitutional duty” to place a Justice on the court, adding that the GOP-controlled Senate would move swiftly to approve Trump’s nominee and vote her out of committee, then “immediately” move to a floor vote.

If she's confirmed the week of Oct. 26, will there be enough time before the election to escalate the mail-in bullshite in Pennsylvania and North Carolina to the SCOTUS?

Too long.
Announce tomorrow. Get her in front of the senate Monday. Discuss and deliberate Tuesday.
Confirmation vote by next Wednesday or Thursday.

No chance. All the SCOTUS stuff for the election will be held after the election. First gonna go through the states and federal appeals.

This needs to be done much quicker. The mail in ballot fraud cases will go to SCOTUS, and we will need 9 justices to effectively rule on them. I don't think by the 26th there will be enough time to do so, or it will already have been heard. That's only 1 week prior to the election

SCOTUS ruled to stop the florida recount bullshite first week of december in 2000 so if she is confirmed at any time during november she would still be able to step in and stop the mail-in recount crap the dems will 100% pull this year so i'm good with this timeline.
remember no matter what happens trump REMAINS president into january 2021.

Kavanaugh was nominated 7/9/2018 and started serving 10/6/2018.
About 3 months, with all the stalling tactics the Marxists could muster.
I’m assuming no rape accusations in this case, so shave a couple weeks off.

They've already said 3 days of hearings ... why the wait to vote? Honestly don't know.
Posted on 9/24/20 at 9:32 am to IT_Dawg
This is too damn long. Nominate today, have the hearings early next week, vote on Friday, and swear her in before 5:00pm.

the hearings only stretched out for kavanaugh b/c the cuck republicans kept 'wanting to hear from all the witnesses' and dems kept trotting out a steady stream of fake accusers for weeks...
i can't wait for all the 'amy gang raped me in high school' accusers this time around

It’s almost as if some people don’t want the president to make a nomination because they don’t like who he will pick. Hmmmmmm.

Trump's up by 200,000 in early voting in PA as of yesterday as Ed Rendell has said, he'll win it in a blowout. Y'all too worried about PA, i think.

It's gonna be full of the following:
"Mrs. Barrett, so-and-so alleges you once said years ago that you believe in God. Is that true?"
"Yes, Senator frick Your Face, I do believe in God"
"Well, then, Mrs. Barrett, why did your god allow Donald Trump to become president and kill millions of people?"

never forget.
also never forget that the end game was for kavanaugh to give up so trump would have to appoint someone else..so they could then do the same thing to that person as well.
God bless Kav for standing strong. He took the arrows so the next Trump nominee would know in the end it would work out.
If Kav had withdrawn from the nomination all hell would have broken out b/c the Dems would have declared victory and doubled down on the next nominee.

he's up in early voting in Florida and North Carolina as well. Remember, Dems normally outperform GOP in early voting so this is great news for Trump.

Why are hearings on confirmations even a thing?
All Senators have staffs who can research and report to their Congressional overlords. 9.9/10 nominees have already been confirmed by Congress to other Federal benches.
These hacks should just do their homework and vote.
No drama needed...
