I remember Reagan never responded to incidents like this. Neither did Bush or Clinton. They all felt such shite was beneath them (and they were right).
This only seemed to start happening with the rise of social media in the Obama era.

I’m not a fan of any government or corporation having to make statements about current events, but after reading that one I’m wanting to see a much more courageous and complete statement that places responsibility where it lies.

Obama and Holder spouting off and being totally wrong in the Ferguson case started all this. And because of their ineptitude in that situation, a large percentage of the American public still to this day believes Michael Brown to be a martyr and symbol of injustice.
