Fox News’s Neil Cavuto reports Trump was smiling ahead of the news of a verdict being in, and also the jury has requested 30 more minutes to get all the paperwork filled out. It remains to be seen what the verdict is here, but the fate of the nation hangs in the balance. Shannon Bream from Fox News, meanwhile, reports that a “verdict” could be a deadlocked jury too so it could be something other than an acquittal or conviction

The bigger issue is what would be the federal claim for SCOTUS to consider. This is a state issue.

With Cohen being so discredited I can see a juror saying 'not guilty' to all counts as he poisoned the case. Maybe that is what we're seeing. In the interest of justice I want an acquittal, but if you're Trump, maybe you want it to be guilty - would be the most massively free advertising hit you could imagine.
