What was the crime?
I know the underlying charge was falsification of business records which is a misdemeanor (and also the statute of limitations had run) so Bragg had to add a second crime to piggyback into a felony.
Hush money - not a crime
Election fraud - federal law, not appropriate in state court and generally civil penalty
Anybody know what the "second crime" was?

Don't play stupid. Voting restrictions go far beyond IDs and include reductions of polling places in minority areas, ending "souls to the polls" voting, elimination of drive-through voting in Democratic areas, reduction of drop boxes in Democratic areas, bans on providing food and drink to voters in long lines, etc.
