There's a million legit issues with Omar that are worthy of attacking. Posting bullshite like this is only going to make critical thinkers question ALL of the accusations (mostly legit) made against Omar. This isn't helping us.

Sea shells, straw, and a woven shopping bag?

Surely there's an exciting Pirate wing in that National Museum, right?

Why the frick are all you alleged conservatives taking Gemini's word on this? Have you already forgotten Gemini's black Nazis and black Vikings fiasco, along with hundreds of other equally embarrassing examples?

From grok, and the Washington Free Beacon, both of which I trust infinitely more than google's Gemini:
quote:

The Washington Free Beacon commissioned a certified English translation of the Somali lyrics to “Nimaan Ciilayba Icaaya” (also styled “Nimaan Ciilay Baa I Caaya”) by Ilkacase Qays featuring Hodan Abdirahman.

freebeacon.com

Here is the core of that translation (chorus and main verses):Chorus (repeated):
The words of a fool have no value.
The one I have angered insults me.
If the Just One (Allah) had not been angry with me,
The enemy would never have set foot here.Verse 1:
The Almighty has given me strength.
If I confront you in the afternoon,
By evening, I will teach you a lesson,
And keep you awake throughout the night.
Yes, you will suffer and cry in seething,
You will scream like a demon.
After all, you are not Arabs,
So swallow your anger and chew on it. (Huh!) If the Just One (Allah) had not been angry with me,
You would never have set foot on this land.
Let me show you who I am, hey, hey!
No enemy dares to threaten me.
Wherever I set foot, he runs away.
Yes, he runs away and stays away.
I have always been the one who caused you to seethe.
I wonder, will the sky fall down on me?Verse 2 (key sections):
Those whom I threw into a well yesterday,
Have developed resentment against me in their hearts.
Their hostility does not make me angry. …
Let the enemies die of seething.
We are the ones who rule this land,
We do not wait for anyone else.
…
Our flag is waving in Borama. …
Let me make clear who I am.
We impose taxes on our enemies.
We punish them and fill them with resentment.
We subjugate and humiliate them.
__________________
The original Somali lyrics (available on Genius and other sites) align with this rendering on the themes of strength from God/Allah, confronting and teaching lessons to foes, making them suffer/seethe/scream, enemies fleeing, ruling the land, taxing/punishing enemies, planting resentment, and subjugating/humiliating them.

Some social-media and speaker paraphrases intensify or loosely rephrase elements (e.g., “trample underfoot,” “crush,” or stronger claims of violence), while a few milder line-by-line attempts exist. The Free Beacon’s certified version is the most systematically documented professional translation produced for this controversy. Exact wording can vary slightly with translator choices on idioms, but the overall aggressive, boastful, rivalrous tone about dominating and humiliating enemies is consistent across reliable sources.

quote:

The lyrics of Ilkacase Qays's song "Nimaan Ciilayba Icaaya" delve into themes of love, struggle, and resilience. The song portrays a sense of longing and the complexities of relationships. The repeated lines about "Nimaan ciilay baa i caaya, haduu caadil ii carooneen cadowga cagta soo ma mariyeen" highlight the conflicting emotions and challenges that arise in relationships. The singer seems to be reflecting on the difficulties they have faced in a past relationship, expressing a desire for understanding and harmony that may have been lacking.

The lyrics also touch on themes of loyalty and betrayal, as seen in the lines "Kuwaan shalay ceel ku riday baa, caloosha cuqdad iigu qaaday, coladooda kama caroodo." These lines suggest a sense of disappointment and hurt caused by someone close, perhaps a sense of being let down or deceived. The singer seems to be grappling with feelings of anger and disillusionment, yet there is also a yearning for forgiveness and resolution, as expressed in the line "Caradaan anagaa ka talino."

Furthermore, the lyrics explore the idea of self-awareness and personal growth, as seen in the lines "Caruus baa nolol ciyaaree, nacabka ciil ha u dhamaado." These lines convey a message of embracing one's own flaws and imperfections, recognizing the need for self-improvement and growth. The singer seems to be on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, striving to move past past mistakes and challenges.

Overall, "Nimaan Ciilayba Icaaya" conveys a poignant message about love, loss, and introspection. The lyrics capture the complexities of human emotions and relationships, showcasing the struggles and triumphs that come with navigating the ups and downs of life. Through powerful imagery and evocative language, Ilkacase Qays's song invites listeners to reflect on their own experiences of love and hardship, reminding us of the universal nature of human emotions and the resilience that comes with facing life's challenges.

Look no further than its tagline:

"Covering the Enemies of Freedom the Way the Mainstream Media Won't"

I imagine they sought out a framing similar to that tagline.

Some one boomed me with that reply here and I had no idea MSNBC changed their name. I have not had cable since before covid. (Though 6 streaming sites costs more than cable )

Both songs are by Ilkacase Qays. But it's very easy to tell which song it is just by listening to the original songs.

The song that Gemini says it is, Lamataabtaan:

LINK

The song, Nimaan Ciilayba Icaaya:

LINK

Listen to the video in Omar's post and you will know exactly which song it is.

Hint: Gemini is wrong.

I've already covered the lyrics for the new song. The X post is still proven to be histrionic, and now the Washington Free Beacon wanted to jump in and debase themselves similarly

Trying to spin a pretty generic "girl power" song into an Islamic call to jihad is certainly a choice.

You're pushing the wrong song. Listen to the original videos and see which one matches the song in Omar's video. It isn't your song.

I've been reading your posts. You're wrong.

Why are you afraid to listen to the original videos? Look them up for yourself on YT if you want, they're both on there.
