Biden trying to score political points by artificially decreasing the cost of gas has been a short term success with long-term ramifications. There are other ways we could have subsidized the costs of Russia's bullshite without such a risky endeavor.

My 1st job out of college was doing collections in Cushing, OK area. I've been all through those storage tank farms up there. Didn't even realize till I mentioned the large police presence there to Dad (retired Citgo Purchasing Manager) that it was the SPR. Just a bunch of round, rusted up, storage tanks covering many acres.

That’s not the spr. The spr is stored in underground salt domes along the Tx and LA gulf coast.
