My guess is west coast will be peaking about that time. They will also be talking about the second peak about the same time. Will be late May I believe.

Not calling LA liars or whatever. But do you think they’re “cooking the books”?

This was released by Asa yesterday

Red is actual and solid blue was projected from ADH using CDC expectation

Sorry, but this just isn’t true.

We can't allow this economy to be irreparably destroyed, even if some harm follows from the decision to open at a time more early than some may advise.

This economy is vital to the national security of the USA.

I hope we go back the first week of May. I know every situation is different but if we go back in May then my family will not have to bad of a negative impact.

This. Not only that. Having to work more for less, but so far no layoffs or cuts. Employees and bills paid first. Me last.

Asa (not a fan) but at least he's quit listening to academics and getting input from people that really know their shite. He's and the attorney general have also been made aware of the games being played by hospitals and large corporate clinics that will be crying for gov't money while they had their docs working with skeleton crews in a normally slower time of year. When shite don't add up...it usually don't.

We are lucky we are in a state where the governor hasn’t freaked out. Plus ADH has been pretty solid on its information. Some of the corporations businesses though (especially restaurants and some retail) have been smashed up here though.

to this day nothing catastrophic has happened except the unnecessary shut down of the economy

last years flu has killed 10x more people then this china flu and that includes the ongoing projected deaths based on accurate models, not the end of times models showing 60 billion will be dead by next week stupidity

Yes. And, as a physician, I think THEY should get assistance before many medical facilities. The shite I've seen is simply nauseating. Manipulation. I run my own business. We're not in dire straights. I've kept all employees with full benefits and despite having two partners that aren't fiscally responsible or prudent, I'm still good. And we've been having to see people local HOSPITALS are turning away. We have full PPE for nurses, and they were all given the option to stay home with pay or work. Everyone stayed. We do ALL the patient care for symptomatic or high risks pt's so our employees aren't exposed. In their vehicle, home, wherever...just not in our facility. A little redneck ingenuity can go a long way. The big guys could've done the same, but they had "free shite" and tax breaks on the brain. I hope they get screwed and the playing field gets leveled a little.

I’m still having to do face to faces at homes Optum allowed some Tele but not for many services. I get paid from half district half the regional Mental Health Center. So we have been on the go. Last week our Superintendent allowed us to use my elementary classroom to bring kids into

Gentry won’t allow anyone in buildings until July Siloam I have heard only allows credentialed employees , but only 2 hours at a time.

My biggest complaint about some of the Mental Health and other medical facilities around is they’re not laying folks off they’re putting them on unpaid leave so they’re not eligible for any benefits. The reasoning is from what we had heard from folks over in Delta was they don’t want to go through red tape when rehiring folks.

Which is why the libs and many on this board want to crash it. They want OMB taken down so bad they will sacrifice the very existence of our country. Nothing would make them happier than seeing us absorbed into Mexico.

Maybe you should go on social media and light their arse up. I went on a FB rant for about 2 hours last sunday against the largest insurer in our state (which btw, if you use their initials are anything that links back to them...they know immediately) about their lack of response for providers, decreased rates for telemedicine, restrictions cutting phone calls even more (many here still don't have good enough service at their homes for telemed) and why they aren't tapping THEIR emergency funds they've stockpiled for decades for mass catastrophes LIKE THIS. Meanwhile everyone is having to pay full premiums while having limited or no access to care, telemed visits at a discount to the insurer, so they are making bank. I also pondered why they aren't continuing coverage for those long time customers laid off during a mass pandemic. Meanwhile, I still have to care for their now uninsured clients until they go back to work and get their insurance back.

Got calls from about 8 marketing reps, our rep, and an email from CEO wondering how they could help. Apparently in the two hours or so it was up, it made the rounds up to Trent Garner, Tom Cotton and "others" up the line. Calls were made and my points were asked to be addressed. within one hour of our conference call, full reimbursement for telemedicine, no limits to COVID-19 only, and phone calls count. Still waiting on the inevitable arse reaming audit, but maybe shite can get changed.

I got called unstable last night about this issue in a thread. It’s sad how people do not understand the truth of a neglected portion of medical field.

As I stated earlier I’m good. I have job. I’m seeing my students and trying like hell to keep them from imploding

Some folks think all you need to do is call a helpline with mental health. That’s so laughable that I even have meetings with these clowns/cowards

That's bullshite!!! At the least, let people get unemployment. I'm hoping for one time in the history of the world, doing the right thing wins the day. I don't need or expect a thing. BUT, I don't think these greedy fricks at the head of these organizations that do zero for patients and essentially bring no value to the healthcare sector, get rewarded and profit in some way. They should have to pay for their shitty, self serving decisions. I'd be fine with ZERO assistance to healthcare if that means NO ONE gets it. I was prepared, responsible and have done wait it takes to keep our full payroll and benefits paid, while pt's are cared for...even many that weren't ours because they were being shooed away from their ACO (Acountable care organization) or pt centered medical home. I'll take a hit, but they'll get BOMBED if there is no financial aid or limited to those that did the right things.
