Absolutely.

I think we’re fundamentally religious creatures. We think in religious frames.

Eta. I put that in an example for you that you could possibly connect with. Sin is the destroyer; the ruler of the world is the evil one, not God.

So you would compare an omnipotent, omniscient being with a human artist? Well here's another analogy.

Your mythological creator being is like an architect that designs a building susceptible to fire. He watches from a firetruck fully capable of putting out the inevitable fire. Waits for half of the occupants inside to die terrible fiery deaths. He then decides to put out most of the fire so that a few people can escape and commands them to thank him for saving them otherwise he will throw them back into the fire. What a cool dude.

He’s the mayor of South Bend. I don’t care what he has to say.

You really have to do mental gymnastics to explain what the plain text says is really not what it means. If you really are a linguist, do tell the different meanings of the word over the different cultures. I am sure people over the past two millennia understood the concept of a man lying with a man.

You literally have no intellectual capacity

The creative force made a perfect place for man to exist. Man decided on his own to start the fire. That creative force then sent the fireman that was closer to him than any other, in order to save the rest

All the rest have to do is follow the path that fireman has pointed out to you. Its not his fault that you are too stupid, and too arrogant in your stupidity, to get out of the fire. You expect to be carried out

It doesn't work that way

Vermin Supreme isn't asking for evangelicals to support him. They don't usually support any Democrat

No it hasn’t. That word had several different contexts even in ancient times.

Dude, good God youre dense.

When the Torah was written in Hebrew 2000 years before the Greek language existed, they didn't change the meaning of their word centuries later, in order for it to mysteriously match what the Greeks had also changed their word from. Which oddly enough would mean both peoples went from describing something that was OK to enjoy, to it being an impressible act.

That simply did not happen, in 2 different languages, centuries apart. Sorry

The plain and simple fact is that the word in Hebrew in the OT, and the word in Greek in the NT BOTH haven't changed in order to fit your current view of what you hope it once meant. Both words, as originally, written describe the process of having affection for something other than a female. And was seen as a sin in both eras, thousands of years apart

Um bro... the evangelicals aren’t going to support a dude that has a lifestyle contrary from what God intended

First off let's just admit that evangelicals are completely retarded. By any of their beliefs neither Trump nor buttigieg are acceptable. It is well known that evangelicals are okay with misogynist, straight white men who warmonger in the Middle East and they are closet white supremacists. Is also well known that they are anti-gay.

Is there any reason that anyone is still in the evangelical? Serious question

You’re an idiot if you think Christianity caused this.

The bible also says I can sell my daughters into slavey.
Oh and have my brother killed for planting the wrong crop.
Anything in the bible is questionable.

That’s not really the debate though. I love the Levitical law said this [fill in the blank] argument, so obviously you can’t take anything literal. A plain reading of the New Testament answers that question and it doesn’t take mental gymnastics to make it work. The whole point of levitical law and the law in general was that it’s humanly impossible to follow. That’s kind of the central theme. It’s really difficult to assert that an active homosexual lifestyle is not condemned in the Bible where repentance is required. The best argument is that it’s not the divine word of God in which case it has no moral authority. However, butt man is framing it in the context that it does.

Sorry. Either the whole bible is the literal, inspired word of God or it isn't. You can't have it both ways.

No on e is voting for Trump for his strong Christian character. Presidential hopeful Buttplug is using the same propaganda that got Trump elected in the 1st place.

You don't seem to be keeping up.

I was mocking the lack of depth in your questions that apparently you find so enlightening. Frankly, it's a simpleton's point of view.

Conservatives and republicans are not going win an election against this guy if they resort to blatant homophobia and throwing fig around like its the chans like I'm seeing in the first couple pages of this thread.

The gay marriage debate has already been litigated and conservatives lost that fight.

Time to move on.

Likewise democrats won’t win if all they have is “orange man mean”...they lost that election once already.

You are kind of missing “context”. Might try reading Romans..
