Not worried about that at all. You’re mistaken on my positions and beliefs of this war. We started it. The US and NATO.

The grassroots opinion of everyday Ukrainians toward the US does matter tho. Or at least it will at some point.

They’re dumb to buy flags to burn them. I’d never be seen near one of their flags.

Back during the Cold War, citizens of the US and Russia largely had no beef with each other. It was a battle between governments.

That remained true till fairly recently. Now, our media paints everything about russia black and evil. Our sanctions are hurting the Russian people and turning them against us.

This will lead to future Russian leadership who are very anti west compared to Putin, and to US leaders who openly advocate for hardline positions against Russia.

While Ukraine may not be as big or powerful as Russia, they will still be anti US and that does no one any good.

If they burn American flags then there should be zero chance of any future assistance

We should have two different American flags

One that is used when a Republican is in the White House, and a different one when a democrat is in the White House.

I certainly feel bad for the Ukrainians because it’s undeniable we (the US under Biden) got them in this mess, but some of us like myself were against this shite from the very beginning. I never wavered in my disdain for the Ukraine war and our subsidization of it.

So it’s got to end. It’s over. We cant have continuation strategies for every single foreign policy when the country is so divided. Either we pull back to more non interventionist policies, or we elect a dictator for life. You have to pick one when a country is so divided.

I wouldn’t doubt the media would find 1 person burning the American flag and play it over and over again to make it seem widespread.

I think this is still the case. Ukrainians included. Eastern Europeans understand government shitbaggery better than most Americans do and know it's not the citizens at fault.
Azov battalion will be the ones burning our flag because they're told to for photo ops, and frick those guys.
The rest of Ukraine does or will understand that what happened to them is because their leader made a deal and sacrificed them. Zelenskyy will be their primary focus. If he's lucky he'll just be impeached and expelled from the country.
