Ukraine military is really doing some serious damage to Russian troops

I've been looking at the Combat Forum and the video footage of Russian casualties, POWs, destroyed helicopters/planes/tanks is pretty extensive. A lot more extensive damage to the Russians than I realized or is being reported.

They will put a fight and inflict some damage but they will get crushed eventually.

Except they really aren't. Pretty much all their air defenses were wiped out with cruise missiles, their armor is now in a turkey shoot, and they've lost every major airport. Ukraine is getting annihilated.

There's was always going to be heavy casualties on both sides. This is war with modern weapons on both sides.

Perhaps, but at what cost to Russia?
This is looking like a long and brutal occupation. If it goes on long enough and costs enough, will the Russian people start making noise domestically?
It's tough to tell what is / is not propaganda, but it sounds like the Russia people are PISSED right now at the prospect of more global sanctions.

A lot of that footage is also old and fake. Of course Ukraine is going to inflict significant casualties, but Russia is steamrolling them and controls the skies.

Actually the Ukrainian air force is now using Romanian airbases to launch their attacks.
Ukrainian SU-27 lands in a Romanian airbase, escorted by two Romanian F-16s. Romania allowing this could be the start of a much broader war for Russia.

I don’t think Ukraine has a game changer. Like a massive weapon of some sort to play like a trump card.

How do we know there’s an arrangement to let them refuel and reload and he didn’t just defect?
This means Ukraine would have Air Force support personnel in Romania. to support landing aircraft. I just don’t see it.

The Russians have air superiority. I hope Ukraine has a lot of Stingers and such.

You may be watching propaganda. Russia has an overwhelming advantage and will crush the Ukrainians. The real fight was over before it began.
