shite if the LDs aren't going to join, they might be done. Unless the final numbers are dramatically different the Tories holding a non-coalition majority seems unlikely.
Remember the real majority isn't 326, its 326 minus half of however many seats Sinn Fein win (since they abstain). I think at this point it's Con + DUP coalition by a count hair.

I was feeling kinda down about this election since I genuinely disliked all the candidates and really if the Tories shift to a soft Brexit that would probably be the best case scenario. A soft Brexit would be kind of a mirror of the Placebo Presidency theory of Trump in that nothing much would change except some people would feel more like they got their say.

She literally had a majority for another 3 years and tossed it in the trash because she thought she had a bigger majority coming. There's no American parallel for that- if she does nothing she's PM tomorrow and for a few more years, now she might resign before the next sunrise.

Also props to Nate Silver who once again warned that the polls were showing lots of undecideds and a normal polling error could zap the outright Tory majority

A few mins ago sky new was projecting that the tories would lose ~16 seats, but now what they are saying they will lose 6 seats. What happened while I was using the ole WC?

They're snatching a bunch of Scottish ridings where the left vote split between Labour and the SNP

She has got to be gutted, really. Just moved into 10 Downing and now she's out. And I bet this decision was pressured upon her by party insiders, innit?

Me Swindon mob are at Leichesters drowning their sorrows - just got some unbelievable pics texted to me... me mate Ollie has aleady gotten the heave ho (typical) and his bird Jaime is snogging her ex in the upstairs parlour

Multiple inside sauces provide a look into Labour Party's headquarter as the new broke:

You thought someone whose party carried virtually 0 ridings should be PM. You have no business calling anyone else a dumbass.

May's speech was the most gutted speech "victory" speech you're ever likely to see.

@Nigel_Farage Corbyn's personality much stronger and more sincere than May. He's picking up Remain voters in London and UKIP voters elsewhere.

Farage was on Tucker's show tonight and he basically said Corbyn was about as anti American as you can get. Did I hear the wrong name? He definitely want talking about Teresa may. He closed with "not good. Not good at all"
