The entire state is run by establishment republican shills who only care about their lobbyists and business interests.

Of course. Abbott still hasn't sought punishment for his buddies who built an empire (and a literal housing development) on the backs of wholesale employment of illegal immigrants. They're big time donors, though, so we will let 'em slide on this one.

Texas always act like their state is the shite and everyone should want to be them. Texas is a joke... Austin, is now San Fran. Dallas might as well be LA. Houston is blue as can be, as is San antonio. They are a bunch of blow hards that get nothing done.

Florida is the only state that knows how to fight back. Get to the back of the line Texas.

No dude, they are still going to pass the redrawn map in a Second session.

This Harrison guy is an attention whore that just wants to bitch and moan to get clicks - and for what? Bloodlust. He is just a rabblerouser trying to get the out pitchforks out of the woodwork to do some major damage.

But these pesky laws we have are frustrating to him.

Loud-mouthed black bitch, Jazzy Crockett, has more balls than all the Texas Republicans that could've brought misery down upon the cowardly Democrats. Once again...an example of all bark and no bite!

Cool I can’t wait to see that happen along with accountability for any of them leaving.

Or an explanation as to why your state legislature is giving out chairmen spots to democrats?

Many people here have become unashamed supporters of Federal power and overreach.
And it seems to depend on whoever is in the White House on whether they support the overreach or not. Crazy how that works.

Well it’s legal to break quorum. So there’s that.

But giving out chairman spots is a different thing, I don’t know the backstory. It was probably part of some negotiation…

Special session started the same day. Harrison pointed out that the Dems accomplished what they wanted. They gained national attention, got their donors active again, waisted a session, and got Newsom and Fat Man a start on their campaign for president.

There will be no repercussions for the Dems. It was all hot air.
nah, that's not what they wanted.

But they did get what they REALLY wanted- a butt load of contributions ahead of mid-terms.

Yeah, when your speaker caucused with the Democrats to get elected to his position.

I’m sure he’ll get right on pushing through redistricting that will likely get him removed as speaker.

Theres also the other matter of why he allowed them to leave the grounds when he could’ve forced them to remain on premise. That’s what gave them the opportunity to meet with Corey Booker who then encouraged them to flee to Illinois.

Y’all are being taken for a ride, they laid out what the situation was on Steve Bannons podcast and I would be livid if it were my state.

Not from Texas. Don't know him. Assuming everything you said is true, I have no reason to doubt you, is anything he said in this video false?

The only way meaningful change is coming is civil war. It’ll be Gen Alpha.

The facts stated are true. But there is nothing preventing a second special session and voting on the agenda. That’s a glaring omission that is misleading.

And the opinions stated are just his opinions. Texas Republicans are still bound by the law, and that is where he goes off the rails in thinking that there is some sort of mandate to supersede the law to punish people.

People were livid about the special session not addressing the flood relief.

The people of Texas want the legislature to focus on the state, and do not want the governor putting the priority of redrawing of congressional district maps over of state related issues.

Steve Bannon talks about a lot of things that are not legal as if they should be done anyway.

This is100% the fault of Republicans who always lead from the back. They loath being in charge where the spotlight is on them and they have to make decisions.

Disagree. There are and will be repercussions.
