TX Pub Safety Dir: Uvalde Police Response “Ridiculous, Abject Failure”, Timeline Made
Posted on 6/22/22 at 12:07 am

The following is from Shannon Bream & the WSJ...
Using security cam and body cam video, investigators have established a timeline.
Before shooter entered school, two Uvalde police officers see him and train guns on him as he walks toward school entrance but decline to fire because they fear missing him and possibly hitting other people.
Shooter entered school at 11:33 AM.
Three minutes later, 11 police officers entered the school hallway outside the classroom.
Police retreat from gunfire and stay at the end of the hall for the remainder of the massacre without firing a shot.
The on scene commander, Pete Arredondo Chief of Uvalde School District Police, ordered his men to not engage.
Arredondo says the classroom doors were locked. But video shows no attempt by any police officer to open the door or even check to see if it was in fact locked. TX Public Safety Director Steve McCraw says the doors were unlocked.
Arredondo says police did not have equipment to respond. But video shows that 19 minutes after police arrived, while shots are actively being fired and children and one still living but shot teacher are screaming for help, police were heavily armed with rifles, halogen axes, and ballistic shields. And did nothing but stand in the hall.
It took another 50 minutes for Border Patrol to arrive, enter the classroom, and kill the shooter.
Border Patrol baw on left supposedly is the one who entered the classroom first and killed the shooter.

Why is anyone surprised that cops stood by and did nothing? That’s literally what they do in everyone of these situations. They stood outside of Columbine. They stood outside the Pulse night club. They stood outside Stoneman Douglas….They’ve got all the best tactical gear. They’ve got the trucks. They’ve got all the best toys and gadgets at their disposal but so fricking what? They aren’t trying to get shot. If it’s you or them, it sucks to be you. Fend for yourself. Are you trying to be a hero when you clock into your 9-5? No? Neither are they.

how could they stand there and hear screaming? its insane.

And our elected representatives are using this to pass gun control measures, which is completely overshadowing the failure of the police in this instance.
If anything, this shooting is an example of why teachers should be armed.

Because a lot of these idiots believe they are heroes simply by putting on the uniform. Sure any cop can shoot a dirt bag drug dealer that pulls a gun on them. That’s my life vs your life, kill of be killed. It’s an entirely different mindset though when you’re in a relatively safe space and it’s not kill or be killed. That’s when you have to make a choice to put yourself in harms way. Real heroes do put themselves in danger to protect others, but not everyone is built that way. These guys chose not to engage because they feared for their safety more than they feared for the safety of those in the classrooms. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with being scared, but cowardliness always gets people killed.

I’ve said it before, but self preservation is a motherfricker.
Couple that with group mentality that nobody else was going in and you have this.
The only people that resisted and tried to enter/went in had family in the school.

It's unbelievable!
I never thought that Sandyhook could be a fraud till now.
It's plausible.

We do not pay cops to risk their lives in defense of the public. We pay them to give speeding tickets and eat donuts.

You explain the actions of the cops then.

Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with being scared, but we do not allow these people to wear a badge and gun so they can cower in hallways while unarmed citizens die.
We give them that privilege for the rare instance we need them to actually show some cojones.

And this is why we can never, ever, ever let them take away our gun ownership rights. If the police ain't going to protect us that leaves........... us
