Trying to understand the situation here. I thought congressional district maps were drawn once every 10 years based at least partially on the Census. Presumably the last districts would've been drawn shortly after the 2020 Census. So what is causing Texas to redraw halfway into the decade?

That insult was not deserved - a requirement for a quorum is to keep a small group from calling an impromptu meeting of a few collaborator to pass some piece of legislation that was obviously opposed by the majority.

These are the kinds of things that were established in a time when integrity, honor, truthfullness, and common decency was an assumed quality of all functional humans.

Democrats cater to the opposite - the more obscene, the more ruthless, the more unhinged, the better they like it.

Because Democrats as currently evolved cannot compete on any sort of level playing field - they can only succeed by deceit, lawlessness, and subterfuge.

They need to be shunned and ignored and mocked into oblivion.
