All because the kids beat his team.

Should have beat up some Little league parents instead.

Meh, I’ve been coaching youth baseball for 22 years now and I’ve personally never witnessed anything like this. Not even close.
So for the record, that’s a minimum of 16 games each year I’ve coached that probably averages closer to 30 each season.
That’s an awful lot of handshake lines I’ve walked through over the years without seeing anything like this.

In fairness, it is just a few.
That certainly doesn’t mean there aren’t jackasses out there.
I don’t know the details of the story you link; but if he’s guilty of beating up some kids, a suspension will be the least of his worries.

Way to miss the point. This isn't about little league. It's about the rampant issue of police abuse. Little league kids just happened to be the subject of his abuse.

He’s an ahole parent who happens to be a cop.

If it were really only "just a few", then you'd only see these news stories a few times a year. Not multiple times per week.

Police abuse
Dex, I’ve walked those lines and shook hands with lots of police officers over the years.
Bottom line is you’re trying to make something out of nothing in regards to youth sports. I don’t have a problem with anyone pointing out police abuse as long as it’s warranted.
This isn’t it. This is a sore loser who was mad at a kid.

The video is there. He's being a prick, basically slapping the kids' hands overly hard and tugging them some.
But he's not beating up kids. He's behaving like a damn bully child.
He deserved a good talking to by another adult right then and there, though...that's for sure.

And you have no problem with him being a cop?

I’m sorry, did your one found instance of this somehow drastically increase the overall number?
Dumbass.

He's probably also a dick as a cop, but with no evidence of that here it's an assumption based on him being a sore loser and slapping some kids hands too hard.

This is nothing like I expected. Based on your post, I was expecting an absolute beat down by a uniformed officer.
While completely unacceptable behavior, this looks like its just a shite parent who needs his arse kicked who happens to be a cop. Given his demeanor he probably doesn't need to be cop if he can't handle losing a little league game, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's abused the badge.

Dude is just a dick soar loser coach, not sure what it has to do with him being a cop. I’d still look at him as an a-hole even if he was an accountant.

Well that's because OP said, "beat up kids." so, you know...naturally you expected to see some kids being beat up.
[insert "so you think this is ok!?!?!"]
No...being a dick as a parent is not ok. If this was a player on the other team, they'd need a talking to about sportsmanship. As an adult, they need to be removed from any position of coaching kids because if you don't know this lesson by then you are going to learn it.
None of that equals "beating up kids" though.

Except any reputable accounting firm would have fired him immediately. Hell, most people will be fired over a trivial social media post. But not cops. It's usually only when they unlawfully kill someone that anyone bothers to begin scrutinizing them. Most of you are conservatives in name only. You don't believe in limited government if you support cops treating citizens any way they please. You're also not a conservative if you support labor unions like these cops love to hide behind.
