I got news for everyone - both Kamala and Trump are going to put BlackRock and other Big Money types in their cabinets. Look for trillions more to go to Big Money leading to a lot more inflation. This ignores the crash event that they will orchestrate to make it all worse.

It’s just my husband and myself now .. kids grown and gone. We eat out sparingly .. we can afford it but why? My cooking is typically better than eating out anyway.

I plan menus around what’s on sale .. and when it is I buy double or triple and freeze it.

It’s my kids I feel bad for. They’re starting families and well, it’s harder than it used to be economically.

Use the free coupons that come in the mail.

Yesterday I bought a 12" sub meal(sub, drink, chips) and then used the coupons for a free 12" sub, cookie and a bag of chips. $14.

You buying this from the dollar store?
A party bag of Doritos is over $7 here. Right now Publix has it on sale for 2 for $10.
Mayo @ $2. that either is single serving or it expired in 2023.11oz Dukes is almost $5.

Subway Sandwiches

Found your problem. If you're gonna spend $30 bucks at least get something that tastes good.

Also they have Footlongs for $6.99 on the Subway app right now. You should have ordered off of there.

The Doritos price is absolutely from the DG down the street, 2 for $7. Same product as Publix. The Mayo is store brand, small jar.

Publix is an expensive store, if you didn’t know.

Someone clearly doesn’t use the Subway app. They sometimes do a BOGO free deal on sandwiches or BOGO 50% off.

Should have gone to Jersey Mike's. Ten time better and the order 2 regular Super Subs, chips and large drink was $20.28. You're welcome. (Oh, and there would be left overs because your woman can't eat a whole one.

Kroger, Walmart, etc.

Grocery prices vary greatly by location.

He’ll it’s only like 3.50 at the closest little grocery store and everything is expensive there.

Well, this is why I moved to the country over 12 years ago. Built a huge chicken pin, started raising rabbits, trapping hogs, and hunting deer. I buy zero meat products from grocery stores. My wife and I go eat at a restaurant once a year for our anniversary. I am about to add onto the chicken coop this weekend and we will have 30-31 laying hens. Also, within the next year I will be getting quotes for solar panels to fully run my house. Goal is to be 100% self sufficient within the nest 12-18 months. Once I'm done with that then the next project will be a still so I can start making moonshine.
