might be. Really no point to jump to conclusions. The current population hasn't changed much recently. It's not like there has been a rash of churches burning down there from arsonists unless I'm just unaware of something.

The number of Muslims has increased.

There are literally hundreds of churches in NYC. This isn’t that telling when you consider that.

You know a Progressive is serious when they use the word “literally” to emphasize their point.

The point he is making is that it is odd that 2 Churches burn down in the same city in such a short period of time.

What would the reaction be if these were black Churches in Alabama or anywhere else in the deep south?

Not just two churches, but two old, historic, churches.

Even if they were predominantly black churches in NYC.

It is hilarious watching progressives give the OK for this by comparing it to their fellow voters destroying buses after an NBA title.

Old churches do burn. No conspiracy theoretician here; if I were to make an educated, reasonable guess I would say most likely they both went up in flames as a result of unattended gasleaks.

How can you make an educated guess without first educating yourself with a simple google search ?

2015 Study says half of Church fires from arson

2001 study per FEMA - arson is the leading cause of structure fires

What about the 5 buses that burned on the streets of Manhattan following the last two Knicks wins that gave them the championship? Was that also Muslim activity?

Were they the result of unattended gas leaks, or arson?

Damn you suck at this.

Are you unaware of the premise of the thread, which discusses two recent church fires?

How can you be this willfully ignorant?

All those meat processing facilities burning down were just coincidence, also.

"Evil" doesn't always have a human face. Someone mentioned faulty wiring. What about rats? They're pretty common in NYC. They chew wires. Chewed wires catch fires. What about lightning strikes? Thunderstorms and lightning happen a lot in the Big Apple, and old buildings like these aren't always adequately protected. Just because airplanes made a B-line for a couple of NYC landmarks 25 years ago doesn't make it the New Normal.

Per ISIS, fires are great for DIYer jihadists

quote:

The fire season was already in full swing at the end of July when ISIS’ official Al-Hayat Media Center released a 4-minute video titled “Incite the Believers” in both English and Arabic. “Consider which you can use easily and without drawing attention to yourself and making the result be death, destruction and heavy losses to the enemies,” the narrator stated. “Yes, my brother, it is that weapon which is within reach of every hand and even children are proficient using it, and people have used it since ancient times to harm their enemies — yes, it is fire.” A graphic displayed ratings for different types of terror tactics and gave firesetting five stars.

The previous fire didn’t have a definitive report on the investigation. According to people in the Astoria, Queens community, the church:

quote:

“had off-and-on problems with vandals and squatters.”

Queens Gazette

Vandals and squatters…Sounds like democrat voters to me.
